A great restoration project!! 1955 trotwood travel trailer, trotwood ohio . Join a tincan travel trailer club .. Sound trailer to start with. many possibilities. usable as is, but has had table , etc removed.Previous owner states roof seams sealed regularly , some wood replaced, there is no smell of mold or water damage . Everyone knows the musty smell of older trailers and campers, I dont get this with this camper. pulls well. This could even be made into a unique concession stand . located in southern ohio will add interior pictures tomorrow.

This was a work of love for the old vintage style that will only become more valuable as time passes…great investment. Beautiful refurbished, vintage aluminum travel trailer with original fixtures and layout. The interior has been restored with new natural maple paneling and cabinets. All the bedding and seat cushions are new. The trailer can be pulled by most cars and trucks. Everything in the trailer is in working order. I just put a new set of trailer tires on and had the bearings repacked at the same time. So its ready to taken out. The original cooktop is clean and has had all the propane lines and fittings replaced with new. The original coffee maker and griddle are in the cabinets. The cooler is also original and has a top shelf for ice with a drain for any melt off. The hardware on the cooler works perfectly. New white countertops. The dinette folds down into an extra bed and provides some extra storage under the bench seats. New curtains let in a nice amount of light when closed and match the upholstery. The cushions aren't perfect but look very nice, I would say 7/10. An outlet near the table is good for charging a laptop or playing some music. The trailer would make a nice retreat or guest room between road trips. One closet with hanging rod and shelf. Modern round mirror is mounted on the closet door. All the midcentury pulls on the cabinets are original. The upper cabinets over the sink are fitted with sliding doors and the drawer under the cooktop has a utensil tray. Stainless steel backsplash matches the original aluminum trim around the counters. Magnetic knife bar over the sink. Camper sleeps 3 comfortably. Full size bed with a down comforter, new mattress cover and bedding. A Small wire book rack is mounted next to the bed. Brand new Thetford camping toilet. Entrance door and large luggage compartment have been fitted with new locks and keys. The new folding entrance step works great and tucks a away easily. The original art deco grab bar has some minor pitting when viewed close up. The exterior is polished aluminum and has had new butyl putty installed between all seams and eyebrows. The roof also received an aluminum clad membrane over all seams. The skin is 60 years old and has seen many trips. Any damage is shown in photos. Trailer is ready to be towed and requires a 2" ball at least 20" up off ground to clear trailer wheel. Title states 2900 lbs. All of the signal lights have the original colored glass lenses and are working. Trailer has a 5 pin wire harness. I have a new loose car side 5pin included. 110v electric and water are connected on left side of trailer near wheel (see photo) Clear vintage title in hand. $500 non refundable deposit at auction closing. 1955 Gibson 14 Ft Travel Tralier 1955 Gibson trailer, 14 ft, fully restored and ready for glamping. This trailer has been completely restored from the frame up ( photos of restoration process available on request) This beautiful trailer has all new floor , almost all exterior metal is new , new interior frame work as needed. Absolutely a total frame up restore. All new interior birch wood paneling, refinished original birch cabinets, New counter tops, new flooring, new cushions and upholstery. New roof vent, roof coated and re sealed, all windows removed, polished and reinstalled. New 2 tone base coat clear coat exterior automotive paint job. All new wiring, new fresh water holding tank, new propane lines, new color matching propane tanks. Color matching wheels with baby moon chrome hub caps. Here she is yall! This show stopping 1955 is where you will want to be seen!! Gretta as we call her, is a 1955, 27 foot (30ft with tongue) BEAUTY! She was stored INDOORS for over 35 years!!! We have an open title!! Gretta is our 9th restoration on these vintage classics, we had plans to keep her for ourselves, but as we think she's perfect in every way and this has been a labor of love we are sad to say due to some personal changes she needs to move on...Is her forever home with you?? She has a lot of original features.-Bright birch wood--all original no replacements.-Retro interior light fixtures in the whole place THAT WORK!! (living room kitchen, bathroom,and bedroom) -Original Frigidaire Fridge and stove/oven, both super clean.-Original screen doors!!-Deep closet in hall- Bathroom double doors swing open to create changing room in hall-She even has some retro furniture pieces!! Fun pull out couch, retro chair,and dinning table,with drop leaves, and some original bedding that was stored all clean for all these years! - Gretta is also rocking her ORIGINAL PAINT!! It's not totally perfect but has amazing patina!! -She also has a super cute natural gas, propane conversion heater that needs to just be hooked up.- in the back bedroom, she is set up for 2 twin beds!! But if wanted we have a like new (5yr old) queen pillow top mattress set for the bedroom What's new to Gretta, a new wood laminate floor, rims and tires(we do have the original split rims and hub caps if you want them), portable toilet, as well as new exit PVC plumbing from tub, and both kitchen and bath sinks. We left the exit pipe long under trailer so you could add a holding tank if wanted. She is solid, no soft spots on floor!! As we live in Wisconsin, and it's winter, we have not checked the pluming or water heater, but expect they should work!! There are a few small ripples in birch paneling in back bedroom under window(pictured). The big window on back side of camper does have a stress crack.We also have not checked the trailer lights but will come with portable light hooked up. The trailer lights should only need an up to-date connector.It has a rolled asphalt roof added, which is the reason the water does not get in.We hope you see her beauty and perfection as we do!! Gretta is ready for her next adventure!!! Is it time to call her yours??

Recently restored, rare aluminum canned ham travel trailer ready for its first camping trip. The original exterior was just polished and looks fantastic. There has been some damage to the skin over the years but nothing stands out much. Some small dents from hail and a few other dents and damage are in video below. Original glass side running lights look perfect. Small chip in rear center running light. All original windows are in working order. Tail lights are not an exact match. Windows and screens were removed and refurbished. Brand new propane tank was painted to match trailer tongue, new valve and line installed to original cooktop. No furnace in this 3 season trailer. All the eyebrows over doors and windows and exterior roof seams have had new butyl putty installed. The roof then had aluminum clad membrane applied over all seams. Brand new trailer tires were just installed and the wheel bearings were removed and repacked with fresh grease. 2900 lb. trailer is pretty light and is easily towed by almost any car or truck. It would be a great compliment to a classic car on drive in night. The new pull out step is sturdy and very convenient. I replaced the locks and keys for luggage compartment and front door. The original deco grab bar was re-polished with some very minor pitting visible up close. New heavy gauge aluminum threshold and fresh weather stripping at entrance. The interior is brand new and smells fresh. All natural maple interior woodwork matches the maple laminate flooring almost perfectly. The closet has a shelf/hanging rod and modern round mirror mounted on the door. The sink and faucet are original and are ready for hook up on the left side of the trailer, the extension is included. Original 110v light fixtures and new outlets are also ready to plug in on left side of trailer and provide plenty of light and options for charging a phone or playing music. Original cook top works great, perfect for a cup of coffee and eggs in the morning. New stainless steel back splash and magnetic utensil bar over sink. New white laminate countertops with original aluminum table edge. Original cooler and hardware works great, top shelf is for ice and has a drain for melt off. Table and cushions folds down into a bed if you plan on sleeping more than a couple. Extra storage under seats and bed. Upper cabinets have sliding doors. Drawer is fitted with a utensil organizer. All cabinets have the original mid century pulls. Very nice full size bed with new bedding and Laura Ashley down comforter. Booth has presentable upholstery but is not perfect. The foam and fabric in booth are new. New curtains. Overall a very fun and beautiful vintage camper that is ready for the national parks or a weekend getaway. Pull it with a classic to your next show or make a nice guest room between road trips. See beautiful Colorado on your way back home. Tongue requires a 2" ball mounted over 20" up from ground to clear the trailer wheel. Clear vintage title in hand. $500 non refundable deposit at auction closing. Purchased new in 2009 after the RV and Camper Show. Very well cared-for and lovingly used. It has a full-sized bed on one end, a queen-sized on the other and the dining area collapses into a twin-sized. We slept 5 and gear very comfortably. It has a sink, stove and built-in refrigerator. Neither the stove or sink were ever used- we had other equipment. There's a bracket for attaching a gas grill on one side. The battery and propane tank are original and ready for use. I am happy to show the buyer every aspect of the trailer including how to put it up take it down and maintain it. The nickel and dime stuff included in the sale are the wheel chocks, a sack of stabilizers for making it level, a level, the owner's manual, a fresh water hose (certified). It's ready for use. Clear title-- you can literally buy it and go camping! This model comes with a gas-powered heater with thermostat. You can fill the reserve water tank or hook-up at most campgrounds. The electric hook-up cord is 25' and retracts into the compartment under one dining bench, the other takes more storage. Issues: one window zipper has a bit of a split- I will show you how to open and close it without making it worse. No other issues inside- it even smells like it did when I bought it! There is a small dent in the front roof drip channel, not a real issue and a bit of surface rust on the frame along the front that is easily touched up (annually when used). Will NOT turn down a FAIR and REASONABLE OFFER!!! Nice 2008 Passport M 200 QS. 22' in length with queen size bed in a rear slide, bunks up front (makes total length with slide out 27'). Dual axle with electronic brakes. VERY hard to find model. Selling because moving north and will not be able to use as much as we want! Maintenance completed: - Furnace was just cleaned, ready to go for next winter! - Roof and windows were JUST re-sealed for the season, saves you time and $$ there. - Tires are less than a year old, less than 500 miles on them. All tires replaced at the same time. - Radio is upgraded and less than a year old. - Awning is two years old and in good condition. This model did not come with a TV, but we have a brand new one which we will include with the camper although it is not yet installed. You will just need to get the bracket to mount. Radio unit includes a DVD player and the necessary wiring. We will include everything we have in the camper. This includes water hoses/water pressure regulator/ small Weber gas grill ($200 new)/plastic wheel chocks/nice blocks for stabilizer jacks/dishes and kitchen utensils etc. All this stuff adds up! Also - this RV has a Blue Ox sway bar brackets and the bars that attach to a load distributing hitch. You will just need the proper hitch/parts to utilize. Only issue we know of: The microwave doesn't work and was removed.
