This is a small teardrop camper trailer; a sleeper with a rear galley, capable of being towed by many different vehicles with ease. It is perfect for one or two people who have tent camping equipment and want to have a more comfortable place to sleep while still living mostly outdoors at camp. Built in Texas by an individual in 2009, it has been used by us for the past two years in Arizona. It has a sleeping space of 44” X 75” and a body size 4’ X 9’ (overall 6’ X 12’) weighing @1,000 lbs (tongue weight of @ 212 lbs). The interior is 42” at the high point, finished in wood with 2 large doors, a ceiling fan, radio/CD and lots of storage. Wired for DC/AC there are plenty of outlets and lights. The battery is a Yellow Top, deep cycle, AGM, new in June 2013 in a lockable box with a trickle charger. All three 15” tires were new in 2012 with 90% tread left and there’s a spare tire carrier for the 2” receiver on the trailer. The 3” square frame is 14” off the ground with a “Torflex” type, flexible, axle and electric brakes. The 2” coupler is bolted to a welded on adjustable channel. The galley in the rear is storage space only (no sink or stove). This is a very functional, well maintained camper designed to go almost anywhere your 4WD can tow it. It is a camping “amenity” meant to be used with other camping equipment. It’s all white metal clad exterior has some previous, cosmetic, hail damage on top. This is a very unique teardrop inspired Cargo Camper. It is one of the smallest ATV haulers that will sleep two in style. The A.W.O.L. will accommodate just about anything that will fit in a space 48"W x 54"H x 96"L. The trailer is 5' x 9' enclosed trailer. So load up your ATV, Bikes, Scooter, Go Cart, or even your BBQ Cook Off Equipment. Your are now ready for that much needed weekend Getaway. Once you arrive at your favorite destination, unload your entertainment of choice and begin transforming your hauler into a sleeper. This is done by simply unlocking the cabinet from the forward hauling position and rolling to the rear sleeper position. This allows you easy access to your camping gear and the included 70 quart cooler stuff full of your favorite campfire foods and drinks. Next open one of the two side doors to access the once hidden cubby where the bedding is stored. Remove the full size queen air mattress and lay out on floor of trailer. Plug in the built in air pump and turn on. The mattress will inflate to fill almost entire floor remaining with only a foot left at the end for your shoes. The sides of the trailer keep the mattress from moving or shifting during the night. This should take less than 10 minutes, and you are now ready to enjoy your weekend. No need to waste money on the powered campsites. The A.W.O.L. is powered by a 120hr deep cycle battery with expandable fuse panel. The battery powers the 3sp reversible ceiling fan. Set fan to pull the air out and you will feel the air pulled through the doors screen windows and across you body like a cool breeze on a fall night. The interior has two 12v receptacles and 3 adjustable doom lights. There is also two light switches to control the two side exterior LED porch lights. The exterior also has one front 12V receptacles and rear lighting for cabinets. Other features including are a multi positioning cargo carrier on the tongue of the trailer. In hauling position place your firewood, gas cans, generator, extra cooler, etc. Remove items, flip carrier over, and place in second receiver and you now have a two person picnic table or cooking service for a table top grill. You could also just simply remove from trailer completely and place on your vehicle to run errands. Along the top sides of trailer are 10 strap holders which allow the entire top to be utilized for hauling extra gear or kayaks. Also included is an attachable 10' x 10' screen canopy. This can be attached to either side using the strap holders and a custom skirt that attaches along bottom of trailer. With the canopy attached you now can step directly out of sleeper into a covered mosquito free environment. One of my favorite things about the A.W.O.L. is the fact that it also can be used as a year round cargo trailer. Either leave the cabinets in or simply remove four bolts and the cabinet splits apart for removal. This allows you to store cabinet in garage and gain an extra 16 inches making the total space as a cargo trailer; 56"W x 60"H X 108"L. ATTENTION GRABBING Rustic Wooden Teardrop Camper Trailer. This is an Assembled camper made on a Utility type trailer. I did NOT built it, bought as it sits today as I am not the original owner. Total length is 12 foot from rear bumper to front of hitch. Sleeping platform is 6 ft length by 4 ft wide at smallest dimensions. The length of "body" naturally increases with the shape of the body. Built in a "RUSTIC" style, has solar exterior lights as pictured on of frame in front of body. Unique and attention getting for sure. Very lightweight , an adult can move the trailer around by hand. Futon mattress inside and set for an easy weekend of camping. The side "windows" are mesh for airflow, but plexiglass can easily be installed. Towing brake / turn signals are wired and in working condition with a 5-prong hookup. Hitch requires a 1 7/8 in ball receiver (comes with one). Tires are 4.80 x 12 in. The trailer has a leaf-spring suspension and tows straight and very easy lightweight. All the seams in the wooden body where filled with clear silicone it appears by the builder and does not leak to my knowledge. We are selling our 2013 Forest River R-Pod model 182G. This is a great camper. We have stored this camper indoors, away from rain and sun in a climate controlled facility. Believe me it is as "like-new" as you can get. We haven't ever used the bathroom facilities, instead always using those at the campground. In fact, we turned the bathroom into a closet with shelving and a rod across the top to provide more room for clothing and jackets (for those chilly fall camping trips). You could convert it back to a bathroom in about 10 minutes by removing the shelving and rod.We removed the poor-quality television that came with the camper and installed two nice televisions (one inside, one outside in the "garage"). We also installed a curtain next to the bunk beds for some light protection for our daughter. Apart from those changes the unit is stock. Everything works perfectly. We have used it about 6 times and I have maintained it perfectly. The BBQ grill is included and it has never been used, except to test that it worked. We also never cooked inside the trailer so it still smells new inside.I will include the propane tank, battery, grill, and an expensive cover we bought before we decided to store it indoors. It is everything you need for great camping trips and good family time priced thousands less than a new model. I have all original documentation, booklets, etc. It also includes the large R-Dome tent extension for rainy days. We only used it once, but it was sure great to have since it gave us a large, covered outdoor space.I have paid for another year of indoor storage through June 2017, which I will transfer to the new owner. For appointments I will meet you at the storage facility near BWI airport.The pictures show the unit in it's current condition stored indoors. Sorry the lighting isn't better.
