This is a 1973 Avion Le Grande camping trailer. This was purchased from an insurance company and had a salvage title. It has been inspected by the Highway Patrol and has a good title now, which means you can license the trailer for road use. This is an aluminum trailer that was in direct competition with Air Stream. These trailers are comparable, but have unique features that the Air Stream never had. The interior is original and very good. Certainly it shows some wear, but I think it excellent for that old of a trailer. The exterior is very good. The chassis is excellent and is very towable anywhere. Charming 1960's CAMPER. It's a true fixer-upper and will be grateful for the opportunity to travel again! It has been sitting for nearly 30 years and was purchased for gold mining trips to the rivers in Northern California. The cabinets and walls are wooden (painted white) and there is a window above the kitchen sink and in the bathroom, 6 windows total. The door also has a window. The windows open in levels with a winding crank. The table and refrigerator were in the camper up until a couple of years ago. There is a stove in the camper, however, it has been so long since this camper has been in use, all of the lines need to be checked for repairs. The carpet is not new and needs to be cleaned or replaced. There is a utility trailer that this camper is setting on and it is available with the camper. The Avion C-10 fits best on the trucks with an 8 foot bed made around the same year as the camper (1966). The camper does not require a license plate, there is a plate light located to the right of the camper door when it is setting on the back of a truck. This camper needs a new door lock, a new refrigerator, and the electrical lines should be checked for repairs. The water lines and propane lines will also need to be checked for repairs. The cushions inside will need to be replaced. This camper is 50 years old and needs a lot of TLC. It is a unique camper because it is fully equipped and can set on the bed of a 4-wheel drive truck. This camper is beautiful! Solid oak entertainment center with a built in desk located in living room. The couch is a queen size sleeper sofa. Across from couch are two swivel reclining chairs. The kitchen has a tall ceiling with ceiling fan, large refrigerator, gas stove and oven, microwave and TONS of cupboard space. Leading up from the kitchen is a pocket door to bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom has a full size corner shower, vanity lighting above mirror, private lavatory and large closet with washer/dryer hook-ups. There's an accordion door to close off bedroom which has queen size bed with reading lamps, built in tv stand and huge full length mirrored closet that has two sliding doors. This camper has tons of storage everywhere! There are 3 slide outs, each with it's own awning; one in bedroom and two in living room/kitchen. There is also a large awning on door side. A 2005 Onan 7000 generator with 50 hours and satellite dish are included in price. The details in this camper are exquisite! The inside colors are made up of cream and aubergine that really pop with the all the oak and gold accents. Very elegant! It has been very well maintained through out the years! There is a small crack in linoleum in lavatory that can be easily fixed with glue. My husband and I purchased this camper new and were primary occupants during our short WI summer weekends along with adult children occasionally. This camper was primarily parked seasonally with very little travel over the years. It pulls like a dream though! During off months this camper was stored indoors for many years.
