Go Wild! **Specifications are approximate and are independently sourced.** Set off by its unique Sloping Front End Cap over the windshield, that replaced the angular hatch from the Model 5 the Model 10 is the most popular of the Eagle's to still be running on the roads today. Available exclusively on the Model 10 was the Detroit Diesel 6V-92TA turbo-charged engine and an Allison four-speed automatic transmission, which provided better fuel economy and power. Seller drove in from Missouri with no issue to current location but for the above possible issue. These are easily identified by their larger, single rectangular exhaust pipe and by unique air scoop mounted just below the last passenger window on the right. Later models did not have this feature. Ahead of its day styling of the cockpit dashboard made this Eagle Fly. It has been described as "Spectacular" and "Aerospace Like" by Owners and devotes. They have made these motors for 50 years and the parts are easy to get. They can also be rebuilt in-frame! with MT643 Allison Automatic Transmission- Allison made 2 transmissions for this motor, this is the larger of the two. In early 2020, I had the International dealer in Missoula (Harlow's) pull the original motor and replace it with a motor from AAA Bus in Phoenix which at the time had 65k original on it. (Have paperwork) I also have replaced the fan hub motor and assembly, alternator and some of the sensors in the last year to get this motor running amazingly! All 4 rear tires were just replaced this summer and the steer tires have plenty of tread left- see photos. The 2 batteries were replaced in late 2019 with NAPA Heavy Duty Commercial units, they are hooked up to a 4A trickle-charger that is wired into the front bumper- see photo an there is also a built-in kill switch. It just had a fresh oil change 10/1/21. This bus needs absolutely nothing mechanical done to it. Build: The bus was gutted and renovated as follows... Stripped to metal on floor, walls and roof. Floor was coated with 2 coats of industrial epoxy paint and framed with 2x4s (see photo) and 3/4" plywood and insulated with 3 1/2" of foam board, glued and caulked at the seams and edges. Roof was raised using custom made galvanized hat channel, stainless fasteners and welded. (see photos) The new skin is aluminum (think Airstream) and was professionally done using 3m panel bond adhesive and rivets. Interior was firred out with 2x4s and epoxy coated fasteners and then insulated with 3" of spray foam on the walls and roof, giving an insulation value of R-19. All original wiring for traffic signals and exterior lights are working. Windows are rv style and work great. All of the plumbing is professionally done including drain and PEX supply lines. A 5kw Darwf Wood Stove is installed in a beautiful brick and metal hearth. Custom school locker coat closet, and amazing local blue pine ceiling and walls. We use a Yeti cooler for food storage but the solar system was designed for a frig/freezer that could easily be installed. Bus is wired both AC and 12DC with plugs on both. We left the bathroom design open but have a brand new Seperette composting insert with urine diverter that is included. This is a custom E450SD Elf Bus built for the Northern California Santa Clara County Library for use as a book mobile. It has been fleet maintained by the school district and has low miles (88k)This is a very high end custom built low floor ($150,000+) rig that can take you and your business / family / etc anywhere.This is a custom special order chassis from Overland coach, the build is by Farber which specializes in custom built SWAT, Blood Drive, Bookmobile, Mobile Command Posts etc. Do not be intimidated by the size of this rig, it drives very easily. I had an e350sd short bus dually previously (7.3L) and this e450sd drives & rides way better than leaf sprung solid axle vehicles.The rig is fully wired up for Satellite internet and networked, has dual rooftop coleman Mach a/c units, Onan generator, shore power hookups (220v), FULL 110v inversion and battery isolation system with integrated charging and generator bypass.
