1995 Bounder 35U We have had this Bounder for two seasons so far, and have done a lot of work getting it to its current state. We put a lot of hard work into and would love to see someone who would continue to love this RV. First of all it is on the reliable 460 Fuel Injected Ford Engine. I just changed the oil for the season with some Mobil 1 Full Synthetic, so it is ready to go. It uses NO oil. It also has an Onan 7000 generator that is also current on maintenance. We bought this RV roughly 2 years ago from the original owner. It was well cared for, and they put several upgrades in it as well. It spent all it's life in Florida except the last two years here in Michigan. It was never driven in the salt as I winterized it. My wife and I just finished reconditioning the interior, living space, kitchen, and bathroom. We left the bedroom original for the time being. We choose colors that stuck with the classic Bounder theme, but brought it up to date at the same time. It has fresh paint, window treatments, curtains to name a few. The floor in the living area and kitchen are a wood laminate. It had been installed before I bought it. There were a couple boards in the hallway from the living room to the kitchen where I replaced two damaged boards, I matched it the best I could, however you can see the replaced boards are lighter. The bath room has all new allure in it to bring it up to date with the new colors. The bedroom retains the original 90s blue carpet and wood grain paneling. The kitchen counter is solid hard wood. There is a much deeper stainless sink with a much nicer faucet then the original plastic one. There was a matching stove cover made at the same time to match as well. The fridge is a couple seasons old and works just like the old with AC or gas, however I did not care for how narrow the original side by side was when trying to put things into it, so I chose a top freezer. The plastic sink and facet in the bathroom now has a stainless sink, and matching faucet. I replaced the toilet when I did the floor with a porcelain one, again, original was plastic, and felt cheap like the faucets. The hot water, and water pump works great, and is ready to use. Just unwinterized it, and sanitized the whole system. The unit has dual air conditioners on the roof, one for the living space, one for the bedroom. The main one in the living space was recently replaced as the compressor started leaking. The stereo works great, it is a tape, but has a line in for an MP3 player so I never updated it as I do not use cds anymore either. The speakers were shot, so I installed some new full range 6X9s. They still need to be covered to make them more cosmetically appealing. I went with a standard CRT TV and hooked in a new DVD player. It is there for a rainy day, but I do not watch TV when I camp. Works great though. All the lights work well, and I just replaced the bulbs that were needed. The interior batteries are High Capacity 6 Volt Duracell Golf Cart batteries I just put in last season. I kept the RV plugged in so they are always maintained, and also a float charger on the engine battery that is under 2 years old. The generator starts right up. It is carbed and has an elevation control on it for smoother running in different climates. It has a little over a thousand hours on it. It is powerful enough to run the A/C, microwave, TV, lights, and charge the batteries all at the same time. The powertrain is awesome. Has enough power to tow my minivan on the back and hold the cruise at 65 up hill. There are no known issues with either the engine, or transmission. It only has 41,XXX miles on it and has lots of life left. The tires are all in good shape. The tread is near new, and have many more years ahead of them. I am not sure when they were replaced. I have them all set to the proper pressure to get you going. Brakes are firm and stop great as well. I replaced the roof vents with new ones. The crank for the fantastic fan keep coming apart every time I put it back together, so it will need lock washers in it. The roof was completely resealed professionally. It appears that the back side had leaked at one point and was repaired. Not bad, however any leak can be disastrous if not caught. It has been completely dry since I have owned it with no leaks. The awnings are original. The main one has a few seasons left in it. No tears that I can see. The ones on the windows are about shot. I never use them, and my intentions were to remove them all together. The automatic stairs work the way they should. They will go in when the engine starts, and come out when the door is open. There is a soft light behind them so you can see where your stepping at night. 4 of the windows are foggy. The two in the bedroom, one in kitchen, and one over couch. They are the same window, and very common issue with them. The fixed part of the window is fine, however the half that slides fogs up on these. The bay windows do it however they were replaced before I owned it. No cracks in anything. Dash A/C does not work, have not tried to charge it or figure it out in any way. This is a basement model RV, it has a lot of pass through storage underneath. A few of the latches sold the farm and hinge locks were put in place. Another common issue with these units. I managed to break a handle off yesterday when I was going through it. The paint is ok. It is a bit faded but very presentable. The decals are the worst and should be refreshed. The Bounder logos were removed with a heat gun and I was going to order some new ones here on ebay. I have the swing up table that came with it for the kitchen. It seats two. I did not reinstall it as I never used it. It just screws into the wall easily. The sofa folds into a bed. Bounders version of a queen bed in the back. Never smoked in, no funky smells. Actually smells new with all the new materials I put in. It is pretty clean for its age. The camper is not new. I am trying to represent it the best I can as I value my 100% feedback. I can not warranty anything on this. It is being sold AS-IS. If you want to send someone over to check it out I am all about it. If you are local and you want to stop by, please do. I am pretty proud of it, and want you to be when you leave with it. It still needs some loving touches if you want it flawless, however it is ready to go camping this weekend.
