1998 Fleetwood Flair 25, Our family has decided to relocate to Texas and we need to sell our 1998 class A Fleetwood Flair. We purchased it last year from the original owners and it was good shape, but we have spent lots of time making it even better. This is a perfect rv for a couple, or for a family with 1 or 2 younger children. This particular Flair is the loaded model 25Y (about 27 feet long). It has a bedroom in the back, a bathroom in the hall, as well as a dinette that quickly makes into another bed. The kitchen comes with a gas/electric refrigerator, a microwave and a gas 3 burner stove and oven. It has the Chevy 454 gas engine with just under 59,000 miles on the odometer. It also has a thermostatically controlled AC and gas heater and a solar panel on top of the AC unit that keeps the house batteries charged up. Lastly, the Flair has a 6 gallon hot water heater that runs on either gas or electricity. In the year we have owned it, we have cleaned it, as well as fixed and updated many items on the rv. Some of these items include; repairing generator (only 250 hours), replacing front shocks and airbags (very hard job), repaired the ladder, and installed a vent cover over the rear vent. Also, recently applied a rubber roof sealant to renew the rubber roof. This is one more thing that the new owner will not have to do again for a while. To be up front, there are a few items we have not had the time to tackle just yet. My list of items to bring it back to new includes: Needs 4 rear tires (fronts were replaced last year with Michelin), awning needs to be replaced (can extend a bit, but is torn at end when rolled all the way out). Lastly, it needs 6 volt batteries. We are asking much less that what we paid for the rv last year. This really is a great deal because we looked for months before purchasing this one (many used units we looked at were not nearly as nice and they wanted much more for them) and we have invested some money and lots of time towards bringing it back to new condition. OH, THIS PRICE INCLUDES A 1995 SATURN SC2 TOW CAR. It comes with the harness and is wired so that you can easily take it with you if you whenever you need a car.
