Here's a 1972 Silver Eagle RV bus.Detroit 8V71 diesel engine, 4-speed transmission. Has two roof top AC units, both need serviced.I just put brand new top of the line steer tires on it ($1,000). I had that done before I drove it home.Has glass cook top, microwave, shower, 2 sinks, bedroom in the rear.Gas Onan generator that runs, but I think it needs a fuel line.Carpeting is old and needs replaced, that would make the interior look a lot better and I don't think it would cost much because there's not that much square footage.I bought it in Tennessee and drove it home 500 miles without any problems, rides nice and motor runs great. Lots of thumbs up from passing vehicles. The fuel mileage isn't too bad, I put 85 gallons in the tank in Nashville, TN ran 70-75 mph the whole way and still had 1/4 tank when I got home. The fuel tank holds 120 gallons.I bought it to fix up the way I want it inside and drive to truck shows with my enclosed trailer and sell my products, but it's just too big to get around in pulling a cargo trailer behind.I decided to buy a pickup and trailer with living quarters that better suits my needs.Starting bid is less than what I paid for it, just looking to get enough to pay off the note at the bank.
