Please see complete details of this boat on THE BOATS FOR SALE BY OWNER WEBSITE www.BOATSFSBO.com/96461 .Please contact boat owner Jesse at 707-599-5668. The Hunter 26 has a great versatility and convenience that no other sailboat can compare. Weighing in at 5000 lbs, trailer and boat, make for a surprisingly easy tow for a 26 footer. Throughout its four owners it has been a freshwater rig for the extent of its lifetime... First sailed in the reservoirs of CO, then the Columbia River of OR, and now on Lake Superior. Over the years this Hunter has been built up to be the perfect sailing rig for everything from day sails to week long island hopping trips. It has a beautiful cabin dining space for up to four people. The galley includes a two burner Origio alcohol stove with a nice size sink. Below the cockpit is a spacious queen size bed that could easily sleep up to three, with room for three to four more in the dining area. An enclosed head with an upgraded porcelain pump head and stock bathroom sink. Small closet space for rain gear. Surround sound speakers inside and out, hooked up to an excellent CD player/w Ipod hookup... All the electrical has been set up to a circuit board and runs off of two 150 Amp Hour batteries, new just a year ago. Some other after market add ons are a bilge pump wired into the ballast tank, which can empty a whoppin 2000 lbs of water to lighten your load. It also doubles as a cockpit/foot cleaner to get that pesky sand off the boat. It has the original sail, and an upgraded roller furling jib. When its not windy the 1994 9.9 Tohatsu Outboard will keep you cruising at around 7 knots, with incredible efficiency on the 5 gallon gas tank.. It has a Raymarine Autopilot Arm for the tiller, to keep you on course if you may be solo sailing. The boat has its original canvas cover that raises the hatch and buttons around a frame, leaving much more head room. A nearly new 6 ft bimini top for those hot summer days, and some beautiful custom ceder wood work on the cabin floors and birdseye maple, stern cockpit seats. Cockpit Table. The one flaw of Invictus is while lowering the mast for the first time with the gin pole inserted into its spot. At the peak of its lowering a hairline crack formed around where the gin pole sat. I have since used the trailer winch to raise and lower the boat's mast with far more ease. This all occurred three days after buying the sailboat in Portland. I have since sailed two fantastic summers on Lake Superior with no problems at all. The trailer has a new axle and greased bearings all around. Its ready to roll anywhere it needs to go. The boat has been a dream sailing rig and I hate to see her go.. Please get in touch if interested. [email removed]
