1999 Monaco La Palma 32S We are selling our beloved La Palma. We are selling because we need to, not because we want to. We have had it camping at least 6 times this year and traveled at least 2,500 miles. I would not hesitate to drive this coach anywhere. It is solid. It's over 15 years old and not without wear or possible maintenance in it's future, but it is well built and reliable. The storage compartments are aluminum doors with plastic tubs so no rust. The underbody itself is in great condition with minimal rust. The engine runs smooth and the transmission shifts well. I maintain 60-65mph when traveling and even towing a car we have gotten 7-10mpg average on our trips. You just have to drive these right and keep the tach between 1500 and 2500. Take your time on grades and don't accelerate harshly. The Ford V10 Triton engine that this coach uses is one of the best. The bathroom shower is large and accommodating. The dual electric/gas hot water tank has never left us out of hot water. The A/C is ducted in the roof with dual units that work together to keep the inside just the right temperature. For colder climates the ducted floor furnace keeps everything toasty without wasting too much propane. You really won't find a better coach of this age in this price range. Thanks for looking.
