This bus was renovated with much love and with the goal of creating a cozy, mobile living space that doesn't feel cheap and smell like plastic. The result is a rustic, cozy cabin on wheels. My wife and I spent 6 months renovating, and another 5 months traveling in this beloved bus. If interested, you can check out an in depth build out of the bus at bellinghambybus.wordpress.com or on Instagram and Facebook: @bellinghambybus Also, please feel free to ask questions and request specific pictures. So much we into making Lady Buster (yes, we named her) that I'm sure I missed something. Our "buy it now" price is our starting point, but all serious offers will be considered. Especially to the right person or couple seeking something diiferent from life. The bus is a Bluebird body on a Chevy p30 chassis. The p30 chassis has been used for buses, delivery vans, and RVs for years. So, parts are cheap and accessible. The body has minor rust, but is very structurely sound. The one area that has been affected by rust is the stairs, due to tracking in salt during winter. These were next on my to do list, along with the shower. This leaves some room for customization while having a 90% complete conversion. I also have tile, mortar and grout for completing the shower that I will include. The motor is a 6.2L Detroit/GM diesel. This engine runs well and hardly uses any oil, but will need some glow plugs before it gets cold ($50 on ebay). Although these engines aren't known for power they are known for dependebility and fuel economy (I est. around 15 mpg). The bus also has a rebuilt AT with OD that is still under warranty. What I have completed toward conversion so far: - 6 × new tires (only 5000 miles on them)-1 1/2 Owens Corning polyiso insulation in ceiling and walls.-3/4 foil backed insulation in floor-3/4 t&g plywood subfloor -5/16 manufactured hardwood floor-2 × 160 watt Grape solar panels-30 amp Morningstar pro-star controller-2 × 12v 160aH Napa golf cart batteries-Custom Pine beadboard ceiling -Sur-flo on demand water pump with accumulator tank-Queen size mattress frame w/ storage underneath -too many little things to list. We are really sad to have to part with our beloved bus that we've come to affectionately know as Lady Buster. We purchased the bus from the previous owners in Kansas City, MO. They had traveled around the country selling their art at festivals and living the good life. They were hearbroken to see her go, but must of trusted us to take good care of her. When we took her home, we instantly knew we had taken possesion of something special and it has changed us in untold ways for the better. Now life has presented a new challenge as we get ready for a new member of our family to arrive we have to sacrifice something we truly love. So we want to pass on this chance for future nomads and explorers to find what's important in life through the use of our trust, Lady Buster.
