2001 Shasta Cheyenne 252 wide body, 27’ C Class motorhome. This is not an auction reject, worn out trade in, or decommissioned basic rental unit, as many RV’s for sale on the internet. This coach was a one owner unit when my wife and I bought it. Ordered with many upgrades when originally purchased, such as 20.3 pound propane tank, ducted air and heat, oak cabinets, plywood drawers, vinyl walls, etc. Laminated welded aluminum sidewalls and floors. Laminated roof with five inch aluminum bowed trusses. I have the original coach build sheet and dealer invoice. Original MSRP was over $57,000. Although it was already in very good shape,I spent a lot of time working on this RV and tweaking little things, ensuring a dependable, fully functional, long distance vehicle for cross country trips to Arizona and Florida. Currently has 60,939 well maintained miles. Clean Car Fax, no accidents, no isues. Engine, transmission, rear differential, and cooling system were completely serviced approximately a thousand miles ago. All new fluids and filters. New serpentine belt. Onan generator was completely serviced, in addition to new carburetor and fuel pump. New front tires and front brakes. Rear tires and brakes are in good condition. Roof was completely resealed and then recaulked with Dicor self leveling sealant in August. Every roof rail screw was checked for torque and retightened. I removed every screw in the cabover section and replaced every screw with heavy duty stainless steel screws, and resealed every joint with Dicor non sag sealant. Replaced vent caps and refrigerator vent hood. Just fully detailed, including complete wax job on cab and coach. In addition, over $600 worth of extra parts and camping supplies go with the deal. This includes a new $300 four ply deluxe Elite cover, Camco leveling ramps, new white water hose, water pressure regulator, full size camping mat, Surgeguard surge protector, high pressure black tank cleaning wand, extra accessories, etc. Tons of storage. If you want to travel immediately, you need nothing, it’s ready to go. Everything to go camping is included. This ad is lengthy and detailed. Please read and click on all the photo links. There are over 100 pics that tell you everything you need to know. Contact me to come and see it or with questions. This is one of the cleanest units you will view. Shorter, easy to handle RV’s with walk around queen beds and full bathrooms are very hard to find. The Cheyenne drives like a big van, but has enough storage and living space for long term, comfortable vacations. CLICK THIS LINK FOR NADA VALUE: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/RV%20NADA EXTERIOR: CLICK THIS LINK FOR EXTERIOR PHOTOS AND ENGINE DISCUSSED IN THIS SECTION: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/RV%20EXTERIOR Coach is mounted on a Chevrolet 3500 cab and chassis. Body and paint are in excellent condition. Paint has a mirror gloss. All glass is tinted and in excellent condition. All chrome and trim also in very good shape. Brand new Firestone Transforce HT radial tires in the front, LT225/75R16. New front disc brakes. Rear tires are not brand new, but in very good condition, same type and size as the front. Rear brakes are also in good condition. Deluxe stainless steel wheel covers. Fuel injected 7.4 liter engine. 4L80E automatic transmission. As stated, underwent a complete full service approximately 1,000 miles ago. All fluids and filters were changed. Coolant, engine oil, transmission, rear differential. Power steering, power disc brakes, cruise, tilt, AC, power door locks, Sony AM/FM/CD. Extended wide body rear view mirrors. Rear skid plates. Front and rear stabilizer jacks. The coach section is all fiberglass with decals. Just completely cleaned and waxed. Coach body is in very good condition. Was stored inside most of it’s life. Decals are in very good shape. Dometic Sun Chaser 18” awning. Outside shower. Winegard power antenna. Coach windows all in very good condition. Passenger side- Coach battery and 20.3 pound propane tank are both in first compartment. Tank has been inspected and pressure tested in August. Second compartment houses an Onan Micro Quiet 4000 generator. Currently has 34.2 hours. Just completely tuned and serviced, including a new carburetor and fuel pump. In the rear is a large, full size, pass through basement compartment. This storage area is very big. This compartment also has an access door on the opposite side, and in the rear so you don’t have to crawl through. Also on this side are the appliances. Suburban six gallon DSI hot water heater with new magnesium anode rod. Atwood 15,000 BTU ducted furnace with automatic pilot. Dometic refrigerator mechanicals on this side too. Driver’s side- Driver’s side is all storage compartments. There is enough inside and outside storage for a Snowbird winter vacation. In addition to another entrance to the rear basement storage, there are three other good size compartments. Eight foot slide out. The roof was professionally coated in August. In addition to the coating, all joints and vent areas were resealed with Dicor self leveling sealer. I took this one step further. I wanted the coach to stay dry and as strong as possible for the long term. I removed all trim strips on the cabover, removed all the factory screws and installed heavy duty stainless steel screws, then reassembled and resealed every joint with Dicor non sag sealant. Dometic 15,000 BTU ducted air conditioning unit mounted on roof. Sewer hose storage in rear bumper. Comes with 3 hoses, for different dump configurations. I will go through the whole RV with the new owner and explain exactly how everything works. I believe this is one the cleaner, better running, fully functional RV’s in this price range you will find on the internet. A 27’ RV is much easier to park and drive than a 31 or 32 footer. As stated, there aren’t many of these units with the walk around queen bed and full bath that even come up for sale. Any questions, please call Randy at 847 456 7726. This 1990 Class A motorhome was built on the 1989 Chevy 454 platform and has it all. We are the second owners and put only 4,000 miles on it in 11 years. It tows, hauls excellent and has never given any indication of its age - with the low mileage, why would it? We have not had it on the road in over 4 years so now it is just taking up space in the barn. If you are looking for a true luxury RV, this is worth taking a look at. It is not a base model and outside of a few minor items (listed below), it is roadworthy and as solid a vehicle as it gets. Engine and drive train:454ci Chevrolet motor, automatic transmission, PS/PB, cruise, tilt wheel, cab A/C (needs new compressor), good tires all around with OK spare (all holding air after 4 years in storage). Also has the upgraded Mor-Ryde RV suspension.Southwind Features:12 volt main electric (new battery) with 12 volt auxiliary for chassis (both with disconnects)30 amp plug-in electric2 swivel reclining Flexsteel captains chairs in front (2 Cabella seat covers included)1 additional swivel passenger chairMagic Bed sofa-sleeperDinette convertible to full size bedQueen bed in back bedroomBuilt in Magic Chef microwaveDometic RM 2801 gas/electric refrigerator (very cold)20 gal LPG tank with remote guage4 burner gas stove with large ovenTV's (analog) front and back wired throughout with antenna switching and DVD playerRoof A/CHydroFlame propane furnace with vents throughoutAM/FM/Cassette radio wired throughoutKwikee Electric stepsBuilt in Magnatek converter/battery chargerOnan 4000 watt Emerald I genset with remote start/stop65 gal freshwater tank40 gal grey water tank30 gal waste water tank90 gal fuel tank6 gal gas hot water heaterUnder sink water filter (needs new cartridge holder)Sleeps 6, drives 10Lots of inside storage - closet, overheads, under seats, under bedTons of outside locking "basement" storage with lightsUnder hood lightingOptions:Shower with tubRear view cameraTrailer hitchLuggage rack with ladderDrivers Side door with roll-down windowMor-Ryde suspension (great for towing)Outside faucet/sink17' Faulkner roll-up porch awning (needs new retraction spring) 4' Faulkner roll-up window awningScreen DoorUnder awning LPG port with 2 burner grill/stove/toaster oven accessoryCustom removable outdoor side table with under counter coffee makerBathroom roof vent travel cover All upholstery is in excellent condition (plastic covers until we bought it - until I removed the seat cover for the pictures, I had never seen the front seat fabric), carpet is in good condition but needs a shampooing, plumbing and electrical all work as they should. 1975 Mercedes O 309 D Mini Bus - RV You are looking at one of the rarest mini-buses found here in the United States today, and it is safe to say you probably have not seen one of these on the road; especially a fully converted one. Not only is this bus an outstanding piece of history, but it is also very functional for all different purposes as it has been fully converted to a recreational vehicle. These buses hit the market in 1967 with a life span of almost 20 years (the last one produced was in late 1986). Today, it is very hard to even find pieces of these buses left, let alone a complete bus, and one that runs and drives. The absolute best part about this listing is the fact it comes with complete second parts bus so you will never have trouble finding anything you need. This is a fully functioning piece of history that has been babied since day one, and it shows. They are commonly found on the west coast because the city of San Diego, CA ordered a massive amount of them for city transportation. They were only used for a short period of time because of the then less commonly sought after four cylinder diesel motor; if only they knew today how highly sought after this motor would eventually become. There is no need for me to explain how rare this bus is, because if you are reading this listing, you already know. The list of ideas this bus could be used for is literally endless. You could drive it exactly as it sits for hundreds of thousands of miles. This is one of a kind. They do not get better than this! If your mind is not already fantasizing about the endless adventures you could take in this bus, continue reading. The absolute best part about this bus is it has already been converted to a RV. The exterior of this bus screams “take me on the road!” The original tan color is what makes this bus stand out. If anyone knows these buses, they know this color. You find buses all over the road that have been highly modified taking away from its original character, but not this one. From the massive Mercedes emblem on the front of the bus to the round taillights mounted on the rear of the bus, it says “1975” all over it. This is NOT a show bus nor has it been completely restored, although, it has had several thousand dollars invested just in maintenance alone not included the full RV conversion. It not being restored is what makes this bus so unique. With that said, below you will find an abbreviated (yet still rather long) list of what makes this 1975 Mercedes Mini Bus RV such an outstanding vehicle: - 1975 Mercedes O 309 D MB (Mini Bus) - VIN: 309382-10-026099 - Has been in California for its entire life - Engine: Industrial 3.8L 4 Cylinder Diesel - Mileage: 19,950 - 4 stroke diesel direct injection - 85 hp @ 2800 rpm - 4 speed automatic Allison 540 transmission - Power steering - Air over hydraulic brakes - Total weight: 9600 lbs - Curb weight: 7956 lbs - Wheelbase: 11'5" - Min. These are fully serviceable) - Swamp cooler mounted on front roof hatch - Air horn - CB radio - All running lights, side markers, blinkers, and all other lights are functional I know I am forgetting a few things, but I have done my best to list everything that this bus has or includes. You will be very pleased with the attention it gets! You will be able to enjoy it for years to come. This is a 1975 Mercedes Mini Bus RV! There is no other vehicle like it! As I stated earlier, the best part about this bus is the fact a second parts bus comes with it. Yes, you are getting two buses! Why does this matter? Because if you ever need anything, you already have it as parts for these buses are near impossible to find. Following is what is included: - 1975 Mercedes-Benz O-309-D Mini-bus - Set up as a passenger bus - 4 cylinder OM 314 model 314.948 USA version - 4 stroke diesel direct injection - 85 hp @ 2800 rpm - 4 sped automatic Allison 540 transmission - Power steering - Air over hydraulic brakes - Total weight: 9600 lbs - Curb weight: 7956 lbs - Wheelbase: 11'5" - Turning circle: 41' - Overall length: 18'11" - Overall width: 6'11" - Overall height above cab: 11" - Head room: 6'2" - All break out windows - Comes with all original owners and service manuals - Allison transmission - Bosch injection pump - Not currently running - Diagnosed it to be a stuck rack in the injection pump (could be used as a complete parts bus as it's the same year and everything is interchangeable) - Could be fixed and driven There is more! All the following spare parts are included in the sale as well: - Spare block - 2 heads (one is good the other is unknown) - New set of pistons and rings - 2 injection pumps (one came off a running motor that they lost the crankshaft in and was performing great and the other was another "runner" that came with the buses) - Spare windshield (both windshields in the buses have no cracks or dings) - Spare side window - Complete set of doors (passenger and driver side) - 5 spare full size wheels - Wheel hubs with studs - Spare alternators - 2 spare starters (had them tested one is good and the other needs work) - Master brake cylinder rebuild kit - More miscellaneous hardware than one can list (bearings, bushing, and so on) These buses were both purchased from an elderly gentlemen who was a German Mercedes-Benz mechanic for many years. He owned both of these buses for twenty plus years and resided in California where they have both spent their entire life. These are two of the ten he owned throughout the last few decades. Therefore, that is the reason there are so many spare and miscellaneous parts. Please, keep in mind this vehicle is considered an antique. It is by no means a show vehicle or a “perfect” condition bus. You absolutely must see it in person to appreciate it! It will not be hauled nor driven for you to decide if you like it or not. You are the buyer; therefore, you are responsible for all parts on your end of the sale (i.e. shipping, title transfer, registration, insurance, inspection, and so on). TERMS AND CONDITIONS: · This 1975 Mercedes O 309 D MB (Mini Bus) is sold AS-IS with NO WARRANTY IMPLIED OR EXPRESSED. · I encourage ALL PARTIES interested to view the bus in person! Custom built Tiny house camper trailer. Built on a 2007 trailer. I have been a builder for the last 40 years or so. Last year I decided I wanted to build a tiny house camper. Not to live in but for recreational purposes. This little house is 2x4 construction. It measures 8' by 12' which gives you a finished 6' 2" wide on the inside and about eleven and a half feet long. I used Breckenridge no void rough sawn plywood on the outside (expensive). I use genuine 5 ply 1/2" plywood for the sheathing for the roof. No strand board anywhere. I painted the outside with two coats of Miller paint primer and Millers evolution exterior paint which is guaranteed for life. The walls are insulated with rock wool which works much better than conventional glass insulation expecially to cut down on outside noise. I built this using high grade sealants and materials sparing no expense and built it as if I was building a boat. The roof is a 60 year solid rubber firestone roof. I used Commercial made trusses. The tires are Brand new Ironman 10 ply. Even the spare which is not pictured. I beefed up the springs on the trailer to 5,200 lbs each. The whole trailer weighs in at less that 3,200. It is currently licensed and the title is in my name. The hot water is supplied by a brand new Rheems 6 gallon electric water heater. The refrigerator is a brand new Magic chef 4.2 cubic ft with a small freezer. The shower is a new conventional house type. Not a kit. The stove top is brand new but right now I cant think of the mfg. The wood work in the inside is all western red cedar and knotty pine. This deal includes all the artwork on the inside and out. The floor is 3/4" plywood covered on the bottom with two coats of liquid rubber and all the seams have been covered with a heavy duty seam tape and coated with the liquid rubber. The floor is insulated with the rock wool as well. I am also including a sway bar set up & slug. It travels very well and I've never had it sway with or without. The sink and the shower are the only plumbing. There is no toilet. We just intended on using a porta potty. The sink and the shower are plumbed in and there is a hose bib outlet on the underside that you simply hook a garden hose to and place it in the 20 gallon portable grey water tank that I am also including. This camper has a lot of charm. I am including a Cabelas 4' wide sleeping pad. The idea here is to either to sleep on a cot of your choice or use the pad that I am including. It is wired for 110, simply plug in a conventional extension cord and your good to go. The trailer is also wired for cable. I plumbed the cook top to hook up to a small canister type propane bottle. Everywhere I take this people come out to see. I have only used it on a couple of day trips. Tags are current. This project cost me over $7,000 just for materials. Couple that with about $5 grand in labor. My loss, your gain. Finances force sale. Whoever wins the bid will have up to 30 days or more if necessary to come and get it as long as payment has been made in full. Call Steve if you have further questions. 360-819-0957.
