This heavily used old trailer won't win a beauty contest, but it is leak-free, cozy, self-contained, and has everything you need for immediate occupation. I've had several small old trailers, and this one is by far my favorite. This trailer has been in nearly constant use for the last 3 years, and surely has some other maintenance and/or repair issues that I haven't mentioned here, but is essentially ready to go right now. Hook it up to your truck, take it to the woods, and be cozy and warm. I've even left dishes in the cupboards, clean sheets in the cabinet, and silverware in the drawer. I use a handyman jack and jack stands for leveling; you can have the jack stands. General Notes The heating system is custom and is the best you've ever seen in a camper. The new (2013) axle has less than 5000 miles on it, and the tires are also fairly new and in great shape. There's a full-size spare in the rear compartment. The main bunk has a futon on it which is thick and great for keeping the cold out from below. There is new (2013) linoleum throughout the main living area. It's easy to keep clean and looks nice. All of the cabinets are in pretty rough shape, but serviceable. At least two of them have broken latches. The galley countertops and the table have heavy scratches and wear marks, but are intact and not structurally damaged. There is no refrigerator, only an ice box. It is original and also shows signs of heavy wear, but is not broken or damaged. The 3-burner propane stove is clean and trouble free. The oven looks like heck but works great and doesn't smoke. There is a large impromptu shelf above the bunk made from plywood. It's ugly but holds your gear. The roof was re-sealed in 2012 and is still perfectly water-tight. The windows are in pretty rough shape, one of them has been boarded up and all of them are drafty, but they open and close and have curtains. The door has trouble closing and is also drafty, and the doorknob is junk but works. There is no toilet. Thank goodness for that, if you ask me. The galley faucet does not work. I don't use the original water tank, because water in it freezes during the winter. There is a 10-gallon galvanized portable tank that I keep on the counter top with its spigot sticking out over the sink. The sink drains directly to the outside, I usually put a bucket under the drain. The 110V system is intact but has unusable because the plug on the outside is broken. I never replaced the plug because I don't use 110V. There are places to plug in your car chargers for phone and laptop, so the solar panel can power everything you need. Heating System Excellent and economical heat! A 4-gallon propane-fired boiler heats a glycol mixture to 170 degrees F, which is then circulated by a 12V high-efficiency pump through 3 independently controllable loops: 1 large double radiator under the galley table, 1 small single radiator in the center on the right side, and a foot-warming loop at the foot of the bed. There are two 7-gallon propane tanks (replaced the small tanks you see in the photos), which is enough fuel to run the heat and do your cooking for 4 weeks in zero-degree weather, and for up to 2 months in weather near freezing. The glycol mixture is currently 15%, I think, so you may need to adjust it if you're going to be in seriously cold weather. When the windows are sealed with plastic (I usually wrap the window screens in saran-wrap during the winter), this system can keep you warm in nearly any weather, compensating adequately for the poor insulation that these campers unfortunately have. The state-of-the-art European radiators provide clean, dry heat. The one under the galley table will warm you up fast when you come back from a long day in the blustery weather, and the little one in the middle is a great place to dry your socks. The foot-warming loop at the foot of the bed is directly above the boiler, and circulates by convection even without the pump. Enjoy a cozy night's sleep with warm toes, no matter what the weather is doing outside! The radiators have bleed valves you can use to purge air from the system. This is often necessary when the camper experiences big changes in altitude. Electrical System There are 2 marine-grade deep-cycle batteries, each of which will run the high-efficiency low-draw circulation pump for the heater for 2 weeks without re-charging. A top-of-the-line 60W solar panel and 6A charge controller keep your main battery fully charged, even in overcast weather. The panel's 90% efficiency means you don't have to worry about how much sun you're getting, just keep the panel free of snow. There are 12V lights inside, but I usually use the propane lantern above the galley table. The electric light over the galley is useful for cooking, though. LED tail lights are bright and safe, and won't change the blink speed even on older trucks using the old thermo-flasher. One of them is damaged from backing into a post, but it's just cosmetic. The light still works and since it's LED it's still red, so you won't get pulled over for it. There is no 110V power, but all it needs is an external plug to get that system working again. Note on the Photos The photos here are recent and representative, but they don't show the damage to the tail light and rear left corner or the broken front window and damaged awning. They show small propane tanks which have now been replaced with big ones. You are responsible for inspecting the trailer before you agree to buy it. My opinion about the worthiness of the trailer for occupation may differ from yours. I've been living in it and I find it comfortable, but I'm used to living a bit rough, so I don't guarantee it won't offend more delicate sensibilities. Please be sure before you commit to buy.

I have a 1977 Airstream ambassador coach. 28ft. camper for sale. It has new tires ($ 320.00), new excella disc brakes ($250.00) New Dexter, vacuum over hydraulic brake actuator ($ 500.00). New break away switch and battery, New water pump ( $ 150.00), mini blinds ($ 100.00). Power tongue jack, good battery, original dometic fridge works on electric and propane, A/C is cold and heater works, all lights work, stove and oven work, hot water heater works, we added a microwave. Pretty much all original, we replaced the carpet and I think someone has had the upholstery redone. awnings are both Zipdee and in good shape. 2 propane tanks, one new and one older, original 8 track player and lots of 8 tracks. This has the all the original aluminum panels and original clear coat, some of the clear coat is worn through on the upper panels. This has never been polished or buffed. We have used this for many years and everything works and has been maintained. One of the 3 roof vents does not open and has tape over it, It does NOT leak. it was like that when I bought it and I didn't mess with it because I have not found an original replacement in good shape. The bathroom counter top has a small crack that has been repaired. This is one of the few with the excella four wheel disc brake system, most people replace these with electric brakes, which is a much more inferior system. I opted to spend the money to make the disc brakes work and there is nothing better. I have the original owners manual also. This is also for sale locally. Buyer is responsible for pick up. Every once in a while a truly well-kept and cared for camper is offered for sale. Fortunately, we have just that camper. This is one of those unique opportunities for a family looking to get into camping without paying an arm and a leg. We first dismissed the idea of a pop-up camper when we were initially looking, thinking that we wouldn't enjoy it. Instead, we quickly became enamored with this particular model because of its light weight, towability, surprisingly spacious floor plan and creature comforts. The Coleman Utah CP has all the amenities of family could want in a pop-up camper. I've included several pictures showing all of the standard and optional equipment that this luxury popup comes with below. Being somewhat of a fanatical researcher, I took to the web to find out as much as I could about this camper and wanted to get owner feedback as well. From my research, Coleman got it right with this model and this particular year. Two of the items that we were cautioned about were the roof and the front mounted exterior storage chest. The older model roofs were subject to leaking because they were made in sections. This new improved one piece roof is extremely rugged and durable. The older exterior chests used wooden bottoms in their construction and consequently rotted out. Our storage chest is made of one piece molded plastic composite which holds up extremely well in the elements and over time. All of the screen is in excellent condition and the exterior canvas and vinyl have been well cared for and maintained. There are no rips or holes that we are aware of or can find. We are the second owners of this fully loaded luxury popup. We purchased it two seasons ago from its original owner who paid in excess of $18,000 for it. The camper sleeps seven and has two huge king beds. All bedding is included and is in excellent condition. My wife just washed both sets. To my knowledge there have been no pets in this camper. It has the Coleman 13,500 BTU Air conditioning unit that can easily conquer the hottest summer that Mother Nature can throw at it. We installed the second battery in parallel to the original, which gives us ample dry camping options. Additional L.E.D. parking, turn signal and brake lights were installed and we have made several other convenience enhancements during our ownership. This unit has electric actuated brakes which is unusual in a camper with a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of under 3500 pounds. Although Coleman didn't need to add the brakes, they did because they add a significant margin of safety and security when traveling. Many SUVs and quite a few cars are capable of towing this popup which makes it a very attractive alternative to larger campers on the market. Set up and tear down is extremely simple. My wife and I have it down to a science. The new owner of this luxury popup will receive an hour's worth of instruction from both of us as to how to setup and tear down the camper. There are also several YouTube videos showing proper setup and tear down procedures. What truly makes his camper enjoyable is the incredible amount of interior space and storage. Our family of four has ample room and never feels crowded. This unit has a pop out dining area with seating for six as well as a kitchenette that includes the following; refrigerator freezer, stove, sink with hot and cold water and several drawers for storage. We are including a microwave oven that we purchased for this camper as well as a 10' by 10' screened tent, suitable for using as an outdoor area and refuge from bugs and rain. The camper also has a shower, outdoor shower stall and a potty although we never used it. We preferred keeping that for emergencies only and used the campground bath houses. The unit's top is raised and lowered electrically. One person can easily set this camper up in under 20 minutes. There are two 20 pound propane tanks installed in front of the exterior storage chest. They are used to power the refrigerator freezer, the heater, the kitchenette stove top, the exterior stove and the water heater. The refrigerator can be run on household current, 12 volt battery power and propane. We also have a retractable awning that spans the entire length of the main cabin and extends out 10 feet. Perfect for those rainy days and preventing cabin fever. Listen carefully; camping in this camper does not make us feel like we're in a "pop-up". It gives us a real feeling of spaciousness. We have really enjoyed this camper immensely. Why are we selling it? Read on. . . We have decided to purchase a larger unit that can accommodate the four of us and a pet. Yes, we recently had an addition to our family. A 13 week old Labra doodle. The unit is currently set up and on display at our residence and can be seen with an appointment. Classic first-rate Shasta Travel Camper Trailer, 1967, Model 1500, Veh. ID# P9016. Is an ideal camper for immediate use *“AS IS” or for the person(s) passionate about restoring vintage travel campers. It is about 12 feet long excluding approximate 3 foot long tongue. It is approximately 8 feet tall x 6 feet, 6 inches wide. There are lots of storage spaces whether in cabinets, storage areas, three (3) pull-out drawers, a mirrored closet for hanging and storing clothing and a large rear storage area for most of the “set-up” equipment. The measurements for all the various storage areas are detailed in this document below. I have original keys for the main door and the rear storage area having primary access through the rear door with ley lock. The camper holds a CT registration. Gross Weight is 2900 and Light Weight is 1500. The camper is solid and in very good condition considering when built. There is no indication of any water leaks, insects what-so-ever. There are MANY, MANY extra items included and *all the items necessary for set-up. Interior – The dinner table seats 4 adults comfortably. It may drop down to a 77” Long x 38” Wide bed to sleep 2 adults. There is a comfortable built-in bench/couch across the rear of the camper. It may fold down to 77” Long x 46” Wide bed to sleep 2 adults. Above that is a fold up/fold down bunk bed. It may fold down to a 77” Long x 46” Wide bed to sleep 1 adult or 2 children. In total the camper sleeps 5-6 people. The cushions are in Very Good Condition because they were recently reupholstered. The sink, counter top and table top are in Very Good condition. There is a 3-burner propane gas cooktop stove and oven. I’m unsure if the oven works. There is a 10+/- gallon (Inca Plastics, Model 106416) water storage tank under the left side table bench seat. There is a manual water pump at the sink, to pump water from the water storage tank. Also at the sink is an on/off faucet for running cold water when hooked up to a water line at the campground, home, etc. There are 3 pull-out drawers each measuring 15 ¾” Wide x 11” Deep x 3 ¾” High for containing serving and cooking utensils, pot holders, dish towels, playing cards, match’s, wax paper, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, large and small baggies, measuring spoons, can opener, knives, cook book (all listed included with the camper), etc. To the left of the drawers is a 22” High x 20 ½” Deep x 10 ½ Wide storage cabinet for pots and pans. There is a 30” Wide x 12” High x 6” Deep storage cabinet below the drawers. There is large 22” Wide x 21” Deep x 20” High storage area to the right of the oven where the propane heater was previously located. The camper is electrically wired with its “original” electrical breaker box, several electric lights with shades and electric power outlets. There is a smoke detector mounted to the ceiling. Also included is a wall mounted gas light, “original equipment” (minus its glass globe). There is a 41” High x 29” Wide x 19” Deep 2-door (with mirror attached) closet with bar for hanging cloths, storing pants, sweaters, socks, etc. Below the closet is a 22” Wide x 14 ½” High x 14” Deep insulated food cooler ice box with hinged door and drain for the melting ice. Below the ice box is another storage cabinet measuring 28” Wide x 13” High x 5 ½” Deep. There are 2 additional storage cabinets, 25 ½” Wide x 12” High x 12” Deep above the sink/stove and 38” Wide x 15” Deep x 14” High above the table. The interior is very nice with a thought out floor plan. There is an access door below the couch (in addition to the main access door in the rear of the camper) to access the large rear storage compartment which measures the width of the camper x 24” Deep x 11”High. The floor is very solid and carpeted. The windows have draped (though dated), are screened throughout, and every window hand crank work perfectly. There is a screened roof vent for additional ventilation. There is full length/width screen door and the insulated solid door locks with a key. Exterior – All hook-up’s function and perform as designed. There are hook-ups for campground supplied electric power and water. A 2” (two inch) hitch ball is required for towing. There is a hook-up for the sink drain hose. The camper tongue accommodates a lock-down rack for two (2) propane gas tanks (tanks are likely outdated). At least one tank has propane in it to use the 3-burner cooktop stove. The tongue has a hand crank to raise and lower it, and has a slip-on swivel wheel (original equipment) to roll the camper around on. There is a painted wood box (integrity questionable, there may be some wood rot) electrically wired for a deep cycle battery for back-up electric power. There is a 10’ W x 9’ D awning which is in Very Good condition. The two (2) Unique Shasta Wings ARE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. The floor carpet is in good condition, older, but is a high durable indoor and outdoor carpet. *One of the camper tires show age and I recommend replacement before the next road trip. *At the same time I recommend repacking the wheel bearings. The metal tire rims and metal hub caps are all ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. The new owner will need to verify the exterior light bulbs work. The exterior roof has a couple tarred patch spots and tar around the roof vent. All tarred areas are sound and water tight. Pressure treated wheel blocks are included. The following item is a VERY UNIQUE FEATURE: **Mounted in the camper rear is a 2” Receiver Hitch for a bike rack, cargo carrier, etc. Additional rare camper items include a lock-down rack for stowing “two” (2) propane gas tanks and windows on “both” sides of the camper at the upper bunk level location. Miscellaneous included items - There are many, many extra items included with this camper. Starting with what I’m told is the “Original” brochure titled “Operation and Maintenance Instructions for your Shasta”. I also have the “”Original” brochure titled “Lighting Instructions” and parts list for the wall mounted gas light made by Sunbeam Trailer Products. Also included are all the tools necessary for setting up the camper at the campground (*except hammer, bedding, hose tee) such as wire cutter, wrench, 4-bit screwdriver, 6-plug electric power strip, 4’-5’ long water hose specifically to *tee off main water supply faucet to access water for drinking, washing hands and dish’s, filling containers, etc. Plus, an approximate 30’ long water supply hose, 50’ long electric supply cord, 17’ long sink drain hose, four Low Buoy camper leveling stands (one for each corner), a 360 degree bullseye bubble level, pressure treated wood wheel blocks, a 125V 15A electric current tap (with 1 male and 3 female outlets). The cabinets are stocked with all the basic cookware including pots, pans, serving and cooking utensils, can opener, tongs, knives, pot holders, dish cloth, tea kettle, and dish washing scrubbers. Mounted to an interior wall is a fire extinguisher. There is a full size spare tire on a steel rim, propane tank on/off handles (currently detached) and valve safety plugs (currently detached), a couple electrical adapters, electrical and masking tape, lightbulbs, drape rod hanging clips, water hose washers, extra “original” closure clips for the cabinet doors and a threaded plumbing collar with washer. As mentioned, There Is A Lot Included With The Camper!!! Background information – At some time the rear window was replaced, due to a slow water leak which left an indication of water contact on the interior paneling to bottom right of the window. There was also a slight water leak right side of front window leaving an indication of water contact on the interior paneling to the bottom right of the window. As of now, this camper is completely 100% water tight as far as I can tell. Inspection was done before this listing and obviously limited to visual inspection of all interior surfaces, walls, inside storage areas and cabinets, etc. To the best of my ability I find no water leaks or insects visible. No wood damage is visible, without tearing walls out, etc. All framing, walls, and the floor feel solid. As we all know these campers are vintage and could have damage not visible to the human eye. With that said I feel this camper is dry and in solid condition. The propane gas lines are sound. You will find small dents on the camper, and hail storm dents primarily on one (1) side, from being caught in a hail storm. Describing “how large or small” they are is subjective to each person. In my opinion the under carriage is in quite good condition with surface rust on framing. The "Original" exterior water faucet was removed years ago. However, I still have it, and it will be included with the camper to its new owner. Inspection and terms - THE CAMPER IS BEING SOLD IN “AS IS” CONDITION.
