The Mercedes chassis is the absolute finest motorhome chassis to drive and I’ve owned and driven many over the last 30 years. This motorhome is absolutely solid and drives like a modern SUV or van and very comfortable at 70 mph even in very strong cross winds. There are lots of mileage claims but I typically drive with the traffic at highway speeds (70 mph typically) and consistently record 14.5-18 mpg. I am only selling due to extensive long range travel needs for the next few busy years. I plan to buy another Sprinter motorhome when I return. The 24SR was the floor plan to wait for as I watched the development of these Mercedes RVs. I purchased it new in April of 2013. It has two very useful slides. The rear queen bed extends out the back with access from both sides. We added a memory foam topper and sleeps identical to our home bedding. The living area couch slides out to give a very comfortable living/working space. With the front captain’s chairs rotated you have very comfortable sitting room for four. These units come with about every option so I’ve listed a condensed list in the pics section. The Thor website gives a comprehensive listing for the Citation Sprinter SR features. The couch has a large pull-out storage bin, and folds out into another queen size powered air-bed. Overhead is a 1-2 person sleeping area that folds up out of the way for travel and daily use. With the ample cabinetry we’ve always had space to spare. Outside storage compartments are large and useful all-around. I have re-foamed the parameters on all to complete the seal that is not done at the factory. I have also added a custom 'power real' for the power cable. It makes set up a breeze but also frees up the compartment for other storage uses. Other add-ons installed are a hard-wired power input protection system with remote digital readout and an engine battery stationary charging system. I have complete maintenance records since new. All servicing has been done by (and as per recommended intervals) our Mercedes dealer, World Wide Motors, Inc. Indianapolis. Note the motorhome is available to view at my residence in the Columbus, Indiana area. The motorhome needs nothing and is completely ready for use. NADA current values are: average list retail $91,750, and low retail $76,150. I have listed $3,000 below dealer lowest retail as a private seller.
