Winnebago’s product literature for the Sightseer repeatedly stresses that word. Flip open the brochure and the text directs you to “expect more”, be “more comfortable” and make use of the “StoreMore” system. These promises leapt out at me and stayed uppermost in my mind as I took the Sightseer and my family through the American Heartland for my road test. For nine days and 1,000 miles we took in the sights and more - with the 2004 30B Sightseer.Winnebago says that the Sightseer is its most affordable Class A motorhome - but - it’s not supposed to look or perform like an entry-level unit, hence the heavy use of “more” in its marketing material. I tend to be skeptical of these come-ons - particularly the more-for-less promises. This is a tough trick to pull off - looking expensive but not being. With the Sightseer this character trait is up front and striking; it does look expensive. The bus-style front flows into one-piece fiberglass sidewalls that perch over a full basement storage system. Paint schemes and designs are simple and commanding. The rear is clean with a large automotive bumper and tail light casement. Marker lights (besides being functional) suggest a fondness for travel. Only the midship entry door signals that this unit is not more expensive. But despite knowing what the price is, at first glance, it’s hard to see where the factory has made concessions to cut cost. Mind you they are there, they have to be, this motorhome is supposed to compete with units that are twenty, or thirty thousand dollars more expensive. So, with this in mind I spent most of my time looking for budget compromises - and deciding if I agreed with the factory’s choices.Picking up the motorhome just outside Chicago afforded us a chance to spend some time in the Windy City. We’ve done this type of excursion several times now, and have come to enjoy the ease with which an RV and public transit gives us access to major cities without the hassle of driving and parking.The following day - pointed towards Hannibal, MO, and the annual Tom Sawyer Days Festival (held over the Fourth of July holiday) - the Sightseer tackled Interstate speeds through flat farmland and 35 degree heat. The 30B Sightseer is built on a Ford chassis (GVWR of 18,000 lb.) and uses the 6.8L Triton V-10 engine as its power source. This motor has been doing duty in a variety of RVs for several years now; it’s strong (310 hp) and quite decent on gas. Coupled to a four-speed transmission with an overdrive lockout for hilly terrain, it moves the motorhome along smartly. Despite the fact the State of Illinois seems to think that RVs fall into the same category as tractor trailers (regulated to 55 mph) I comfortably cruised at the automobile limit - without a noticeable drop in fuel economy. Moderate side winds caused only slight body roll, and a minimum of effort on the steering held the Sightseer on course.Often overlooked in tests, tires play an important role in handling and road manners. I was glad to see standard Goodyear 245/70R 19.5-inch radial tires on the Sightseer; these are good all-purpose tires that have a quiet highway tread. On-ramp acceleration was competent and the four-wheel antilock brake system was more than adequate. A 190-inch wheelbase is long enough to flatten out some bumps, but with a length of 370 inches it also means that your driving concerns should be directed to the tail swing of this unit. This is amplified by the front axle setting and wheel cut of the Ford chassis that makes this 30-footer nimble in its turning ability. The steering is light and its turning radius diameter is surprisingly small (just 31 feet). Just watch the back end. Winnebago obviously considered this because the large remote electric side mirrors (optional) and backup camera (optional) cover most of the usual blind spots. The cab layout is simple and clean. Standard Ford gauges, along with lit flip toggles for auxiliary functions. The deep dashboard frames the split window (offers frame rigidity) where the bus-style wipers rest. It also houses the AM/FM stereo, cassette/CD (optional) and bumps up to the sliding glass side windows (with screen) on either side. Visibility is excellent, but the noise level less so. Engine noise is very well baffled, but wind noise from the side windows is annoying. There is a little too much flex in the frames and the gaskets need attention. In addition, the large dash may need additional anchor points. Mine shook and on larger bumps caused the CD to skip repeatedly. The factory Ford AC cools the front of the RV easily and over several hours, at speed, under load, in July heat - the temperature gauge never budged.Crossing the Mississippi into Missouri we were soon setup in the aptly named “Injun Joe” Campground just outside Hannibal (boyhood home of Mark Twain, and backdrop for several of his books). Temperatures continued to rise (to 38 C and higher) but the thermostat controlled air conditioner never missed a beat (I also noted, outside it was very quiet, no complaints from the neighbors). The “One Place” systems center - all controls (hot water tank, water pump, refrigerator, gas, tank levels etc.) had to be set just once - after that they automatically switched between shore power and propane as needed.Throughout the Sightseer I began to notice the choices that the design team had made, balancing cost with convenience. For instance, the Onan MicroQuiet gas generator (standard) has to be manually plugged into an outlet in the exterior service center. A simple solution that saves the cost of an automatic switch over between shore and generator power. A 130-watt inverter (often standard) is optional, again a cost compromise. These choices made sense to me, the plug is simple and with shore power and a generator, how often would I need 110V power from my DC batteries?Another priority - space. The large slideout (138 inches) provides it, with economy. How? First with the use of an electrically-powered slide system, cheaper than hydraulic. Second, instead of a flat floor, Winnebago devotes resources to the StoreMore system that moves the basement storage out with the slide. Storage doors are lightweight but adequate, while inside I was glad to see that lights had not been left out. Each compartment has an AC/DC light, which is more important to me than heavy doors. Then there are those things that don’t require cost sacrifice - just good engineering. The exterior service center puts all the valves and outlets in one central easy to access compartment. With lighting, pump switch and cleanup station (and Geni plug-in) this is an example of good design. Even the dump valves have color coded handles (grey and black) that just happened to be installed backwards on my unit. Of note inside is the swivel glider. It’s held in place with a quick-release latch - so you can put it where you want. What a simple joy as opposed to companies that insist on screwing the lounge seat into the floor. The master bedroom has an accordion-type plastic sliding door for privacy, this is adequate, but what’s better is a spring loaded hinge in the toilet door that holds it open, separating the salon from the bath and bedroom – that’s smart.My wife was particularly happy to see a real oven in the Sightseer galley. Ovens are so handy, in a pinch - they’ll even make toast. Yet with many builders they have somehow fallen out of favor. The onus has been on the microwave, but even convection equipped ones can’t do what an oven can. In the Sightseer there is a standard microwave on board - but with the oven it can be smaller and non-convection.The standard features that make up the Sightseer’s appliance/decor/fabrics package are just right for this price range of RV. I make this statement after having lived in it for a week. My sense (and more importantly my wife’s) on the function and comfort of the coach was that everything meshed well. There are lights where you need them, there is a bar for hanging wet clothes in the shower, there is a lot of hanging storage for shirts and skirts that can wrinkle, but only one night table - can you live with that? Most of the cost-saving measures are ones you’ll never see, and some others just don’t matter. One note to Winnebago quality control - please watch for stripped screwheads, there were a few in our unit. Cost concessions did not seem to enter into the safety equation for the Sightseer. There was an assist handle outside, assist strap inside, detectors and alarms for LP leaks, smoke and carbon monoxide. There was a fire extinguisher, ground fault interrupter, high-mounted rear stop lamp, three-point seat belts in the cab, and lap belts in selected areas, a window escape and laminated safety glass for the windshield.A nice touch for future upgrades is the pre-wiring that’s already in place for a digital satellite system, a second bedroom TV, VCR and backup camera. Some items you may want right away (I have to have a VCR) others you can install later - or not. If you choose to go with the optional leveling jacks, you’ll be getting the hydraulic Kwikee touch pad control system ($5,246 MSRP). This is the only item on the optional list that I would say should be standard. A unit of this size (remember the rear overhang, plus the slideout) needs to be stabilized. 1998 Winnebago Rialta with 74,774 miles. -Excellent condition and properly maintained. -15-18mpg, drives like a minivan, and can fit in a regular parking spot. -Clear title in hand -It recently passed a full pre-sale buyer inspection at a certified shop - QD layout which is the four seater with the dinette/bed in the rear. I replaced the rear passenger seats with a leather recliner and additional larger refrigerator that runs on included 1200watt inverter. The original fridge is still intact and works fine. I also have the original four seats and can replace them easily if wanted. -Front wheel drive. Very small turning radius. -Driver and passenger air bags - Dash and roof A/C -Transmission cooler - Scangauge II Aftermarket digital gauge that displays MPG, transmission temp, water temp, alt voltage, and a variety of other data. - I have the Onan generator designed for it but I upgraded to a Honda 2000 watt generator instead. It's much quieter, efficient, and opened up the extra storage space where the generator was originally located. The generator alone was $1000 purchased last year and is mounted in an aluminum, sound insulated, lockable hitch cargo box. It's easy to start and runs 8 hours under a full load (roof AC on) on a full tank. -New stainless steel refrigerator -Upgraded with very nice Fiamma F65s awning - New 22" Samsung TV -Phillips DVD player - New Sony bluetooth stereo head unit -One of the the best add-ons is the Rear View Safety RVS-770619P Backup Camera System. It's a high resolution wide angler ear view camera with infrared night vision. The large display mounts onto the stock rearview mirror so it's very intuitive to see behind you. The camera also lets you keep the back blinds down for privacy and to reduce the inside temperature. -Upgraded blackout blinds -Recent tires and brake pads Overall this is an outstanding little motorhome that has been upgraded with over $2500 in improvements alone since I bought it in 10/13. It's perfectly reliable, needs nothing, and could go out on a cross country trip immediately. It's located in north Round Rock, TX area. Asking $18,500 OBO.

This camper has been here for a while, for one reason or another (color, age, weight, layout, whatever), and with all the fresh trade-ins we're getting it's time for us to make some space. That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. This is actually a nice, solid little camper! Sure, it's a 23 year old popup...but all in all? It's held up VERY WELL. The floors and walls are solid. The cabinets look decent. The dinette table has some wear from being moved around for the last 2+ decades but it looks good too. The cushions and mattresses and curtains look good. The stove lid could use a fresh coat of rust-oleum paint and the kitchen sink needs a new faucet, but there are NO ODORS and like I said - the hard parts are nice and solid! Even the ceiling looks really good! The worst part about this camper - again, a 23 year old popup - is the tenting. It's not Sunbrella - this was before they started doing that. This is Evolution3 fabric - the stuff they make car covers from. There's some holes here and there from age (and probably careless storage), in the E-3 fabric and in the windows/screens. All of them look like they've been taped up, though, and even though it's not very neat or pretty...it should keep the weather and bugs out for you until you get a chance to either properly patch, or completely replace, the tenting. You can find new tents easily online - there's a heck of a market for these old Colemans, because the campers are so well built! This one, at (literally) a dollar a pound? DEFINITELY worth fixing up - it's a really neat little camper! The outside is about the same as the inside - nice solid hard-parts, with just the tenting being the bad part. It looks like they were using some of that spray-sealer on the seams - that's all I can think the black stuff is. Probably wouldn't have been my choice, but...well...at least they were trying. Honestly...their "fixes" look worse than the rips and tears!! But the lift system looks (and works) great. Sidewalls and end caps look great. The graphics actually look good too! The tires look nice, there's no electric brakes to worry about because it's so lightweight so all it has is a 4 pin flat plug for your tow vehicle. Fix up some soft goods, and you'll have a GREAT little camper here! Honestly - this camper would be worth more money to us if we parted it out. But then we'd have all that labor time taking it apart...and quite frankly, it's just too darned solid to tear it apart! It deserves a new set of canvas, and another 23 years of camping fun! Is it basic? Sure - no heat, no air, no fridge, no hot water...but that's also no stuff to break or replace. Want to get into camping without blowing the budget? No need to upsize your car or truck? Do you just need someplace to sleep that's off the ground? HERE'S your camper!! Why do we sell on eBay? Exposure, plain and simple. There are NO ODORS. The floor is solid. This is just a neat, clean, basic little Coleman with a neat, clean, basic little price tag! Check out the photos below - you'll see how nice it is! Just like the inside - nice, clean, straight, basic. No signs of accident damage. The tents look GREAT on this one, the roof looks good, the tires look good, the lights look good, even the ABS front and rear panels look good! There's some stickers on the outside, but you can remove them if you want - it looks to me like this was owned by a younger person/couple judging by the Thule roof racks and the content of the bumper stickers, definitely lots of outdoorsy stuff in those stickers! That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. This is a nice truck camper - it's not perfect, but I couldn't find any real "damage" on it anywhere. All you need to add (if you don't have them already) is the tie down points on your personal truck, and a set of turnbuckles to hold it in, and the wiring plug to power the lights...and you're all set! If you don't have tie down points or wiring, email me your truck's information (year/make/model/bed size/factory or aftermarket hitch/fender flares/side steps - those are ALL questions I need answers to in order to spec the right mounting points) and I can put together a fully-installed price quote for you. We're a one-stop-shop, and we can certainly install all the items you need to get down the road safely with your new-to-you Lance! No odors. Nice options. Good working 3 way fridge. Ice cold a/c. CLEAN wet-bath. Complete kitchen. DSI water heater. No rips. No tears. No stains. No signs of pets. TONS of storage. And LOTS of space! This Lance has held up VERY nicely over the last dozen years - I was very surprised when I walked in, at how nice it actually is! There's a nice big dinette right inside the door, the cabinet overhead converts into a lightweight bunk for little kids, the wet-bath is super clean (and shiny!), the kitchen is roomy and complete with lots of cabinets and all the appliances you'd expect, the fridge is HUGE, the a/c is ice-cold, and the front bed is nice and roomy and in good shape. The very front wall right in the center is the only spot we could find any water leak evidence - the front corners look good, the wardrobe cabinets are nice and clean and straight, and everything is nice and clean and solid other than that one spot. There's no LP on board, it was traded in empty, but the water heater clicks like it should, trying to light. The jacks work nicely (it's how we got it off the customers' truck when they traded it in!). The only thing that flat didn't work, is the generator - it only has 36 hours on it (3 hours a year??), and doesn't even click when you hit the start button. But, the way we have it priced, you're definitely saving MORE than enough cash to get it repaired, or install a replacement. This is a LOT of camper for the money!! I didn't see any body damage on it. The passenger rear corner is separated just a little bit below the floor level, but you can strap that back together easily enough once you get it home. There's a nice folding entry step, good passthrough storage doors, a 30A campground power cord, a front-of-bed mounted cord for lighting and truck power, and good looking glass all around. This camper has a 10 foot floor length - that tells me, even though the brochure isn't committed one way or another (see link above), this is a LONG BED CAMPER. It's going to stick out past an 8' bed by 2 feet. And, it's not ultralight - nearly 3k lbs empty. You're going to need a decent truck for this one, no six cylinder half-tons here! But if you have a nice 3/4 or one-ton truck, you're in a position to get (and save a TON of money on) a nice used Lance here. Put a little time into re-sealing your seams and joints, throw a tune-up and clean-up on the generator to get it running (it's not "broken", it's just never been used and these things don't like to sit!), and you're going to have a HECK of a camper here...for HALF OF BOOK VALUE!!! Inside and out, everything is clean and straight and in excellent working order. If you're looking for a great couples' coach that won't break the bank, and doesn't require a super-heavy duty tow vehicle...this could be just what you need! Read below for more details about the inside and outside of this great little camper! This is a lot of nice camper, for not a lot of money...and it's ready to hit the campgrounds as soon as you pick it up from our lot! The inside of this Dutchmen is CLEAN. There are zero odors, no stains, no ripples, I didn't even see any dust! The cabinets look great, the appliances are working properly, the upholstery is perfect, and it's a great little layout! The rear bathroom is HUGE, the kitchen has plenty of cabinet space, the fridge is nice and big, the dinette is close for easy serving, the sofa is in a slideout for extra space, and the front bedroom is nice and private with a half-wall and privacy curtain. It's not huge, it's not "too big", but there's plenty of room to move around and be comfortable. There's no carpet to worry about, everything is vinyl flooring and it's in great shape (and easy to keep clean!). The colors are really nice too - whoever gets this camper is going to be very happy. The outside of this Dutchmen is just as nice as the inside. As you can see in the photos, the awning looks great and it's HUGE - nearly the whole length of the trailer!! We haven't found any signs of body damage at all - the walls are straight and smooth, the colors look great, the graphics are in nice shape, it has four excellent condition tires on it, the glass looks good, and there's a nice diamondplate stone guard up front in case your tow vehicle kicks up any debris while you're towing. There's even a POWER tongue jack on it, with nice LED hookup lights - it looks like it may be brand new this season, it works great and the black paint is nice and dark and shiny, with no fading at all. One thing I noticed on the outside - the owners were DEFINITELY taking care of resealing the camper on a regular basis. They weren't too neat and tidy about it in some spots, but I always say "ugly sealant is better than no sealant". The fact they were doing the maintenance is probably WHY the interior looks so good on this camper! The only three spots that showed any signs at all of water leaks are inside the three doors on the entry side - front cargo door, entry door, and rear cargo door. They can't really seal them shut, and it looks like some water (very little, we really had to poke and dig to find these) got around the door seals. Nothing is really "soft", but there are some ripples in the cargo areas and if you shove your toe all the way in the corner between the entry door and the fridge cabinet, you can feel just a hint of bubbling there too. Again - we had to hunt to find these spots. If I didn't tell you about them, you'd probably never find them on your own, at least not any time soon. But, I like to tell people about these things - not only so you know what you're buying, but also so you know what areas you need to pay special attention to when it comes to maintenance. This is a NICE camper - there's no reason to slack off on maintenance, and if you can get a good jump on re-sealing the seams and checking your door seals, you'll go a long way to KEEPING this camper as nice as it is, for years and years of fun!. That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. Roomy and clean. That about sums this one up! The main living area has a HUGE slideout for the dinette, sofa, and entertainment center; a big kitchen with eat-in bar area; and a rear wall that's filled with nice picture windows and two swivel chairs, so you can enjoy the view (and all that natural light!). The only two spots in the living area that aren't perfect (not bad for a 10 year old unit) are a small spot on the edge of the carpet that's threadbare, and a small area around the entry door - the vinyl floor has pulled away from the wall just a bit (about half an inch), and the wallboard right at the bottom of the wall, between the doorway and the back wall, has a little water damage. Door not closed all the way probably...but these walls are framed in aluminum, so the structure isn't going anywhere! There are no odors either, and judging by the amount of sealant around every single seam, window, and cargo door...the last owners probably took care of whatever leaked in the past. Towards the front of the camper, there's a HUGE walkthrough bathroom with big corner shower with glass doors; a roomy commode; and a nice vanity. There's also a big wardrobe right there in the bathroom. In front of the bathroom, the main bedroom - and it looks like a 5th wheel setup with a big glass-door full-width wardrobe, a bed slideout, and a nice dresser at the foot of the bed. The one NON-5th wheel feature? A bedroom entrance. Always nice to have if people are sleeping in the living area (on that convertible dinette or pullout sofa) and you need to get out of the camper. There are two spots up here that aren't perfect, too - first is visible in the photos, the floor by this door has been patched. Nicely, it's solid as a rock...but they used a different vinyl for the floor. And dead-center in the camper, right up against the wardrobe, there's a small soft spot in the floor. Looking outside, it's probably from the off-doorside cargo door - that cargo passage runs below the wardrobe and it looks like that door may have leaked at some point. Again - no odors, no stains, no visual issues. It looks like they got this one taken care of as well... Look at my photos - you can see how NICE this Quantum is inside. And, I checked the appliances and they were all working properly for me when I took the photos for this ad. It's ready to hit the campground, or your permanent campsite! Nice and clean, just like the inside. No signs of body damage. Decent looking graphics - there's some curling on the edges here and there, but nothing too horrible. The front end is a nice durable thick fiberglass cap, and there's a good working power tongue jack up there to make it easy to hook up and unhook that 1100 lb tongue. This camper may not be a lightweight...but it sure is roomy! The roof looks good; the tires look good; the glass is good. And like I said (you can sorta see it in some of my photos) - there is PLENTY of sealant around all the seams, gaps, windows and doors on this camper! I've seen neater...but I've also seen uglier. The only real "issue" outside, and I don't even think it's an issue, is some peeling right at the front of the awning - tape it up and you can easily get a few more seasons out of it. This camper has been here for a while, for one reason or another (color, age, weight, layout, whatever), and with all the fresh trade-ins we're getting it's time for us to make some space. That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. Nice solid Mallard camper with a great layout and a HUGE rear bath! The carpet is the worst part about it, it's got a lot of sun fading but everything in the camper seems nice and solid and it's a very popular floorplan. Touch up a couple of cosmetics on this one and you'll have one heck of a nice camper for not a lot of cash! Like I said above, the worst part about this interior is the carpet - it's faded and has some traffic and wear stains on it. But the actual cloth itself is in decent shape, so you could re-dye it a darker color if you wanted to and you'd get a good many years out of it, or you could just re-do the flooring with some pergo or prefinished hardwood and not have to worry about carpeting at all! The floors are nice and solid throughout, so it doesn't appear to be a water issue, it just looks like the owners didn't follow the first rule of storing a camper - CLOSE THE BLINDS. Keep the sun out, and you'll keep the fading to a minimum. Other than some faded carpet though? This is a great camper! There are NO ODORS. The cabinets look great, the appliances worked just fine for me when I checked them out, it has a nice slideout for the dinette to give you a little extra room, it has a popular layout with the sideways-facing couch so you can get - even in the small size - a dinette AND a sofa, and it has a HUGE full-width rear bathroom with its own wardrobe closet, so you can get 100% ready for your day while you're in there, and not have to walk in and out to get clothes and get dressed. There's also a nice sized kitchen and a big pantry under the TV shelf (remember back when TV's needed shelves?). There's a wall behind the sofa with a curtain for bedroom privacy, and the front bed has nice bedstands and cabinets all around the head of the bed. There are a couple drip-trails in the doorside front corner cabinet, but again - nothing is soft or bubbled. Those couple little drips are the only things I could find that would explain the note on our company website (where, by the way, this same trailer is listed for $6995 - if you want to save, CLICK THE BUTTON HERE!), where it says "water leaks". I didn't find ANY soft spots in this camper - and believe me, after as many years as I've been doing this, I know where to look for soft spots! The outside is also in good shape. The graphics look good and I didn't see any signs of any body damage. The awning looks good, the tires have good tread on them, and the glass and lights look good too. The seams have been re-sealed at some point (they're not factory-sealed, it's a different material on there now)...but I can't tell how long it's been and with those couple small trails inside the front cabinet, I'd say now's the time to re-seal it so it doesn't start to leak. It's in nice shape - if you can spend less than $100 and a nice Saturday in the sun, and KEEP it nice? I'd go for it, that's time and money well-spent! The one thing I noticed outside that was out of place, was the super-clean, obviously-newer water heater. It looks good and I was thinking it was a retrofit...and when I got back inside I confirmed that. What's in the camper is an LP-only water heater, but at one time it had a gas/electric water heater because there's a 110v switch in the kitchen labeled "water heater". Personally...I'd have done the same thing. It's not hard to light an LP heater, there's less stuff to break, and by going out to it every time to light it by hand, you're putting hands and eyes on it so you can see if there are issues starting, or bugs moving in, or leaks happening - before they get out of hand. But, it lights just fine so I wouldn't sweat it at all - if you "have" to have a gas/electric water heater, you can always add one later but this one seems to be doing just fine. So there you have it - a nice-condition, solid throughout, great layout great priced camper! THIS is the time to buy - you can get it home and get it sealed up before winter, and you can still take it camping this season. There's great weather out there, the trees and leaves are gorgeous, and it's a perfect time to be outdoors! And quite frankly...when springtime rolls around? These older Colemans are desirable - they built them very well and they LAST! You can see that with this camper - it's thirteen years old now, but everything is in really nice shape, and now is the time to buy because we've got some great prices on these popups. Place your bid - you never know where the reserve may be, you just might be able to steal yourself a camper here! This Santa Fe has a nice clean interior - no odors, lots of storage space, good upholstery, nice curtains, nice mattresses and good looking appliances. You get a nice 3 way fridge to keep your food cold; an LP furnace to keep you nice and warm on those cooler nights; there's a 3 burner cooktop inside and a portable LP grille for outside (that's the bag under the dinette table). And you have a galley sink that can run either off city water hookup, or from the 10 gallon under-floor tank. The floors are solid and all the furnishings look great, and so do the tents. There are a couple small ripples in the ceiling from past water leaks, but that's not unusual on these campers with the bike rack setup on the roof - people forget to seal them until after they see the ripples. But we've had crazy-heavy rain here lately and nothing inside the camper feels wet, so I'm guessing it was exactly like I said - the owner let the seals slide one rainstorm too long, they saw the ripples pop up, and then they re-sealed the roof (like you're supposed to do every year, on any RV, new or used). But that's it - a couple ripples that barely show up in the photos. If you're looking for a nice, well-equipped nicely-built popup camper to get started camping, or just to have as an "extra" camper? This could be a great choice! Just like the inside, the outside of this one looks great. Nice tents and screens, good graphics, no signs of accident damage, nice stepper door, good looking tires. It's just...nice, and clean, and straight. And you do have a luggage rack up top with standard bike rack mounts (they're either Yakima or Thule, I couldn't tell which logo was on them), so if you want you can add bike clamps or kayak clamps or whatever-clamps you want, so you can head out to the wilderness with your exercise toys right there on top of your popup! That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. This Rockwood is nice, light, roomy, and in good shape. The only real defects we found were cosmetic, and there is only one small spot that shows signs of water leaks - read below to find out all the details, but I think you're going to be impressed by this camper! Roomy and clean - that's this interior. It has a nice big front living area, slideout for the convertible dinette, entertainment center with good sightlines to the sofa and the dinette, a nice galley kitchen, a BIG side-aisle bathroom, and a private rear bedroom with its own entry door. There's lots of storage areas, cabinets, wardrobes, and closet space for all your stuff; the appliances are in good working order; I didn't see any rips tears or stains inside - it all looks really nice. There are no odors either - they kept this one clean, and it shows. The only spot we found any signs of water leaking is between the slideout and the front sofa - a small area, right up against the wall, not in a traffic area and if I hadn't told you about it...you probably wouldn't have found it on your own. It's that minor. Our guess is the slideout seals need some maintenance - normal for a camper, people don't do their maintenance and things start to leak, but this one isn't bad at all and you can easily keep it from getting any worse by just bringing it up to date on maintenance. It's definitely worth the time and effort! The outside of this Rockwood also looks good - I didn't see any signs of body damage, and just like the interior, it's nice and clean. The only real cosmetic issues outside are some peeling decals - some of them are peeling and curling (not surprising since they're nearly a dozen years old), and the awning has a couple spots where the outer layer is peeling a bit - but the industry has tape that will hold that all back together so you can get a few more seasons out of the awning. The cloth center layer looks good, it just has some "sunburn" is all. But other than that, this is a NICE camper! The tires look good, the front fiberglass cap will protect it for years and years, there's even a slide topper awning to keep sticks and debris off your slideout roof. As always, I recommend the new owners plan a Saturday to bring the seals and seams up to date with fresh caulk, and make sure to moisturize those slideout gaskets, but once you have the maintenance up to date (and KEEP it up to date!) you're going to get years and years of happy travels out of this camper. It's roomy, it's light, it's clean, and it's ready to hit the campgrounds with you - and with those electrically-heated holding tanks? There's NO reason to end your season yet - keep camping!! GENERALLY, the coach you are viewing is a Bank unit, that was repoed from an individual. I in turn bought it from the bank for the purpose of resell. However, if there was a major problem with the unit upon purchase V2GRV will either address/ correct the problem, or report the issue with in the ad. Just because the RV was repoed by the bank does not mean its life is over. Most of these RVs were voluntary turned back in, meaning "life" happened and the people could not longer keep the unit and turned it back to the bank. Sometimes some TLC may be needed on any used unit. The outside of the RV is probably is in avg condition when compared to other 10 yr old Alfa RVs. When compared to other 10 yr old RV of a different make, it is in below avg condition. This is due to the fact it has pin head "blisters" in different parts of the body The inside of the coach is probably in above avg condition when compared to other 10 yr old RVs. Alfa RVs offer many high end features, like heat pumps and and 7.5 ceiling height. However due to the cosmetic issues it keeps the cost low. Alfas are high end RVs that can be bought for an entry level price Interior is clean with no unpleasant odors of any kind (i.e. pet, smoke, musty, etc etc.) This coach is approx 40 foot According to NADA. This coach can sleep a total of 4 There is room for two in the bed. The sofa converts to a bed for 2. We are unable to take enough time to completely check out every thing on each unit. GENERALLY, the coach you are viewing is a Bank unit, that was repoed from an individual. I in turn bought it from the bank for the purpose of resell. However, if there was a major problem with the unit upon purchase V2GRV will either address/ correct the problem, or report the issue with in the ad. Just because the RV was repoed by the bank does not mean its life is over. Most of these RVs were voluntary turned back in, meaning "life" happened and the people could not longer keep the unit and turned it back to the bank. Sometimes some TLC may be needed on any used unit. The outside of the RV is probably in avg condition when compared to other 11yr old RVs. The inside of the RV is probably in avg condition when compared to other 11 yr old RVs Interior is clean with no unpleasant odors of any kind (i.e. pet, smoke, musty, etc etc.) This RV is approx 35'6" foot According to NADA. This RV is a Winnebago Adventurer 35U. The 35U offers an oversized bedroom slide out. Winnebago makes also the Itasca Sunflyer Suncruiser , Outlook , View , Sightseer , and the Brave The coach has the following options/features: Leveling Jacks Converter rear Hitch Electric Entry Steps Patio Awning Slide Topper Awnings Stove top Microwave Convection Oven TV s 10 gallon dual heat water heater heatpump Fiberglass roof Backup Camera This RV was just drove approx 600 miles with no trouble. no oil consumption was noted There is a dual stage basement AC / Heatpump. Ducted Air. It also has a LP furnace back up. There is a fridge / freezer that works on LP gas or electric. This means the coach is not new so please do not expect new. If you are expecting a decent to nice 11 year old RV that is USED this is it. I generally state, just to cover myself, this coach does look better in pictures than in person. I guess the lighting makes the units look better. There are no known roof leaks at this time. Over the past 11 years I can not guarantee there has never been a roof leak, currently we have not seen any roof leaks. This coach can sleep a total of 6 There is room for two in the rear bed. 2 can sleep on the sofa 2 on the dinette We are unable to take enough time to completely check out every thing on each unit. If and when applicable we will make sure the following is in proper working order: over head air conditioner refrigerator pressure test the fresh water system plumbing. The tires have good tread. They are brand new less 600 mile trip home. The carpet looks good as you can see in the pictures. There might be a stain or two but nothing to be concerned about. This coach has a 50 amp power cord hook up from the factory. I do not think you would have any trouble on the way home. I now feel that I have described this rv 'bad'. I would rather you to be happy and satisified than disappointed when you arrive. I tend to write ads making the RV sounds worse than I think it really is..
