An almost unbelievably nice example of the ever popular Toyota Mini Motor Home. It is easy to see this unit has been lovingly and meticulously maintained. Only owners who take a lot of pride in what they own keep a unit in the condition this Toyota is in. Is it brand new? Absolutely not.....in fact it is 20 years young. Is it in perfect condition? No , and I don't want anyone to think I am trying to make them believe it is. But I think the condition of this unit is pretty apparent in the photos. And if I don't have space for all the photos' you need to see I will be glad to send what you want directly to your email upon request. I know I will forget something so I am sure you can expect revisions as questions are asked. I will answer any questions honestly and quickly as they are asked. This Toyota will not be for the average person looking for a Toyota Motorhome........ but it is the one that certain people look near and far to find........ and unlike most of them that turn out to be not what they are supposed to be when you actually see them, this RV will not disappoint !! Now for the description as follows: As stated....... 1994 The final year for the Toyota Mini Motorhome Low miles as 79k on this unit is considered low. It has the 3.0 Engine ! They are powerful yet get good gas economy for an RV. And no I am not going to tell you they get 23 in the city and 28 on the road as I have just seen stated. Speaking from personal experience and having owned several of these in the past, it has been my experience these units typically get around 10/12 and when on open highways you will generally get 12/15 maybe a bit better with a tailwind. I don't see the need in being less than truthful about these things knowing full well at the end of the first tank full you would be thinking of me in less than affectionate terms! It is what it is and actually thats not bad mileage considering you are pulling a small house. It also has the automatic transmission with overdrive. As you can see in the dash pictures there is a button that depicts ECT. For those who don't know that is Electronically Controlled Transmission. This function is available for immediate power increase as needed in passing ( Yes I have actually passed many vehicles in these) and for hill climbing and is a great asset. Thee engine and transmission are dry, clean and perform flawlessly as you would expect. The timing belt was changed 10k back at 69k as it should have been according to manufacturer instructions. All six tires are as new with 6k on them and zero weathering or dryrot. I installed brand new stainless wheelcovers all around to make her as pretty as she deserves to be! Of course it has the heavy duty one ton rearend. Engine bay is clean and oil free. No rust anywhere. Exhaust system is in good condition and quite as it should be! Brakes will stop on a dime and work as they should. All mechanical systems are good to go!! Truck body and house body are both in excellent condition. Paint is in excellent condition. All glass good. The roof has the original sealing on it from the factory and looks like it was done last week. Previous owner owned this unit 6 years and I don't know the history before that. I installed new rain covers on the roof vents so they can be left open for ventilation when raining. I installed a new High Definition Antenna (The Jack) so you can get high def channels on the brand new flat screen TV pretty much anywhere you happen to be. The awning is in excellent condition as seen in pictures. As you can see in the pictures this unit has the flat fiberglass FRP sides which is much preferable to the ribbed siding. (And much nicer looking in my humble opinion) If you can tell in the pictures the unit shines like new money and while it looks wet I assure you that is the permanent gloss !! Just a gorgeous unit !! I know I am writing way too much so will try to do better on the inside. It is as nice as the outside. I replaced all the ceiling lights with new ones. Original lights were fine just yellowed. Sleeper jack knife sofa, sleeper breakfast booth, full bed top side, all new bedding. Fridge is cold, freezer is colder (9 degrees when I checked earlier)Gas/Electric 2 way. Stove works great, Microwave works great, water heater works great, etc, etc, etc,,,,,,,,everything works great!!! Roof air is cold, dash air is cold !! Upholstery in the cab and in the house is in excellent condition!! Full bathroom, cedar closet one wall to keep the pests out. Full shower, also outside shower. All lights work as they should! All plumbing, all electrical great condition! The one thing on this RV that does have a problem is the generator. It is an Onan 3k. The previous owner told me it needs a voltage regulator. All I have done is squirt gas in the carb and it starts right up and makes power but won't keep running so after reading the trouble shooting guide the regulator is probably right. It does run good when running so I do believe it is not anything too distressing. This vehicle is for sale locally and listing may be withdrawn at any time. Also as with any 20 year old vehicle there are no warranties either expressed nor implied. Winnebago’s product literature for the Sightseer repeatedly stresses that word. Flip open the brochure and the text directs you to “expect more”, be “more comfortable” and make use of the “StoreMore” system. These promises leapt out at me and stayed uppermost in my mind as I took the Sightseer and my family through the American Heartland for my road test. For nine days and 1,000 miles we took in the sights and more - with the 2004 30B Sightseer.Winnebago says that the Sightseer is its most affordable Class A motorhome - but - it’s not supposed to look or perform like an entry-level unit, hence the heavy use of “more” in its marketing material. I tend to be skeptical of these come-ons - particularly the more-for-less promises. This is a tough trick to pull off - looking expensive but not being. With the Sightseer this character trait is up front and striking; it does look expensive. The bus-style front flows into one-piece fiberglass sidewalls that perch over a full basement storage system. Paint schemes and designs are simple and commanding. The rear is clean with a large automotive bumper and tail light casement. Marker lights (besides being functional) suggest a fondness for travel. Only the midship entry door signals that this unit is not more expensive. But despite knowing what the price is, at first glance, it’s hard to see where the factory has made concessions to cut cost. Mind you they are there, they have to be, this motorhome is supposed to compete with units that are twenty, or thirty thousand dollars more expensive. So, with this in mind I spent most of my time looking for budget compromises - and deciding if I agreed with the factory’s choices.Picking up the motorhome just outside Chicago afforded us a chance to spend some time in the Windy City. We’ve done this type of excursion several times now, and have come to enjoy the ease with which an RV and public transit gives us access to major cities without the hassle of driving and parking.The following day - pointed towards Hannibal, MO, and the annual Tom Sawyer Days Festival (held over the Fourth of July holiday) - the Sightseer tackled Interstate speeds through flat farmland and 35 degree heat. The 30B Sightseer is built on a Ford chassis (GVWR of 18,000 lb.) and uses the 6.8L Triton V-10 engine as its power source. This motor has been doing duty in a variety of RVs for several years now; it’s strong (310 hp) and quite decent on gas. Coupled to a four-speed transmission with an overdrive lockout for hilly terrain, it moves the motorhome along smartly. Despite the fact the State of Illinois seems to think that RVs fall into the same category as tractor trailers (regulated to 55 mph) I comfortably cruised at the automobile limit - without a noticeable drop in fuel economy. Moderate side winds caused only slight body roll, and a minimum of effort on the steering held the Sightseer on course.Often overlooked in tests, tires play an important role in handling and road manners. I was glad to see standard Goodyear 245/70R 19.5-inch radial tires on the Sightseer; these are good all-purpose tires that have a quiet highway tread. On-ramp acceleration was competent and the four-wheel antilock brake system was more than adequate. A 190-inch wheelbase is long enough to flatten out some bumps, but with a length of 370 inches it also means that your driving concerns should be directed to the tail swing of this unit. This is amplified by the front axle setting and wheel cut of the Ford chassis that makes this 30-footer nimble in its turning ability. The steering is light and its turning radius diameter is surprisingly small (just 31 feet). Just watch the back end. Winnebago obviously considered this because the large remote electric side mirrors (optional) and backup camera (optional) cover most of the usual blind spots. The cab layout is simple and clean. Standard Ford gauges, along with lit flip toggles for auxiliary functions. The deep dashboard frames the split window (offers frame rigidity) where the bus-style wipers rest. It also houses the AM/FM stereo, cassette/CD (optional) and bumps up to the sliding glass side windows (with screen) on either side. Visibility is excellent, but the noise level less so. Engine noise is very well baffled, but wind noise from the side windows is annoying. There is a little too much flex in the frames and the gaskets need attention. In addition, the large dash may need additional anchor points. Mine shook and on larger bumps caused the CD to skip repeatedly. The factory Ford AC cools the front of the RV easily and over several hours, at speed, under load, in July heat - the temperature gauge never budged.Crossing the Mississippi into Missouri we were soon setup in the aptly named “Injun Joe” Campground just outside Hannibal (boyhood home of Mark Twain, and backdrop for several of his books). Temperatures continued to rise (to 38 C and higher) but the thermostat controlled air conditioner never missed a beat (I also noted, outside it was very quiet, no complaints from the neighbors). The “One Place” systems center - all controls (hot water tank, water pump, refrigerator, gas, tank levels etc.) had to be set just once - after that they automatically switched between shore power and propane as needed.Throughout the Sightseer I began to notice the choices that the design team had made, balancing cost with convenience. For instance, the Onan MicroQuiet gas generator (standard) has to be manually plugged into an outlet in the exterior service center. A simple solution that saves the cost of an automatic switch over between shore and generator power. A 130-watt inverter (often standard) is optional, again a cost compromise. These choices made sense to me, the plug is simple and with shore power and a generator, how often would I need 110V power from my DC batteries?Another priority - space. The large slideout (138 inches) provides it, with economy. How? First with the use of an electrically-powered slide system, cheaper than hydraulic. Second, instead of a flat floor, Winnebago devotes resources to the StoreMore system that moves the basement storage out with the slide. Storage doors are lightweight but adequate, while inside I was glad to see that lights had not been left out. Each compartment has an AC/DC light, which is more important to me than heavy doors. Then there are those things that don’t require cost sacrifice - just good engineering. The exterior service center puts all the valves and outlets in one central easy to access compartment. With lighting, pump switch and cleanup station (and Geni plug-in) this is an example of good design. Even the dump valves have color coded handles (grey and black) that just happened to be installed backwards on my unit. Of note inside is the swivel glider. It’s held in place with a quick-release latch - so you can put it where you want. What a simple joy as opposed to companies that insist on screwing the lounge seat into the floor. The master bedroom has an accordion-type plastic sliding door for privacy, this is adequate, but what’s better is a spring loaded hinge in the toilet door that holds it open, separating the salon from the bath and bedroom – that’s smart.My wife was particularly happy to see a real oven in the Sightseer galley. Ovens are so handy, in a pinch - they’ll even make toast. Yet with many builders they have somehow fallen out of favor. The onus has been on the microwave, but even convection equipped ones can’t do what an oven can. In the Sightseer there is a standard microwave on board - but with the oven it can be smaller and non-convection.The standard features that make up the Sightseer’s appliance/decor/fabrics package are just right for this price range of RV. I make this statement after having lived in it for a week. My sense (and more importantly my wife’s) on the function and comfort of the coach was that everything meshed well. There are lights where you need them, there is a bar for hanging wet clothes in the shower, there is a lot of hanging storage for shirts and skirts that can wrinkle, but only one night table - can you live with that? Most of the cost-saving measures are ones you’ll never see, and some others just don’t matter. One note to Winnebago quality control - please watch for stripped screwheads, there were a few in our unit. Cost concessions did not seem to enter into the safety equation for the Sightseer. There was an assist handle outside, assist strap inside, detectors and alarms for LP leaks, smoke and carbon monoxide. There was a fire extinguisher, ground fault interrupter, high-mounted rear stop lamp, three-point seat belts in the cab, and lap belts in selected areas, a window escape and laminated safety glass for the windshield.A nice touch for future upgrades is the pre-wiring that’s already in place for a digital satellite system, a second bedroom TV, VCR and backup camera. Some items you may want right away (I have to have a VCR) others you can install later - or not. If you choose to go with the optional leveling jacks, you’ll be getting the hydraulic Kwikee touch pad control system ($5,246 MSRP). This is the only item on the optional list that I would say should be standard. A unit of this size (remember the rear overhang, plus the slideout) needs to be stabilized. GENERALLY, the coach you are viewing is a REPO unit and a few are trade-ins. This means that this is your chance to own a great USED coach for a very low price. With the REPO RVs, there is usually some TLC needed. We generally have generic descriptions for our ebay auctions. Sometimes, we may forget something or make a mistake about some detail. So, please give us a call for a walk around description to ensure that we have good communications about this RV. This coach is approx 226". This coach is a Airstream Interstate Class B built on a Freightliner Dodge chassis with a mercedes benz diesel This RV was just driven several hundred miles with no trouble. This RV was purchased from a fellow RV dealer here in SC. It is NOT a repo There is roof AC unit that works. The engine or dash AC does blow cold air. The Mercedes DIESEL engine runs as it should. The 5 speed automatic overdrive transmission shifts great also, no problems. At the time of the listing the Onan generator is in working condition. There is a fridge / freezer that works on LP gas or electric. Many of the RVs currently have a washer dryer installed. Typically ,we plan to remove the unit unless the winning bidder wants to purchase the unit for $500 in addition to the bid price. We did NOT check every single light, drawer, storage door latch etc. Hopefully, they are good. We feel that since this motorhome is a repo and we are selling for a low profit, we are NOT planning to check or go over every single detail. WE can not cover, repair, or go over it all and make very little or low profit. So, our theory is to sell a lot at very little profit. This is good for you because it gives you a chance to own a RV for a VERY LOW price. As with any older RV, there is usually some delam or water damage.Sometimes we do not have all of the keys for each door, due to being a REPO. There is a small dent on the pass front door I generally state, just to cover myself, this coach does look better in pictures than in person. I guess the lighting makes the units look better. There are no known roof leaks at this time. Over the past 5 years I can not guarantee there has never been a leak, currently we have not seen any leaks. We usually liquidate our inventory and only do a basic mechanical check out. We sold over 350 units in 2008. We sold over 100 units in the 4th quarter alone!!! YES, we sold over 100 units in the supposedly worst economy ever. We are selling them because we are CHEAP. So we are unable to take enough time to completely check out every thing on each unit. We will make sure the engine, transmission, over head air conditioner, refrigerator, and the generator operate normally (if/when applicable). These are the items most people are concerned with. We will also perform a basic check on the drivetrain, which consist of a test drive to determine if the engine transmission and brakes seem to perform properly. We will repair what is necessary. The REST is up to you!! The carpet looks good as you can see in the pictures. There are typically some stains here or there, but nothing to really be concerned about. The tires typically have good tread on 16 inch wheels, but they have a current date code. There is a local tire store that will install 6 new tires for approx $1200. This coach has a 30 amp power cord hook up from the factory, as with most repos, the power cords are sometimes missing. Also, the curtains or blinds are usually tattered and worn on these older units. When an appoitment is made to pick up your item, Karolina Koaches will have your item powered up so you can feel confident that the coach functions as described in this ebay ad. Also, the 'curtains' or blinds are usually 'tattered' and worn on these older units. I do not think you would have any trouble on the way home. I now feel that I have described this coach 'bad'. But, due to stringent State and Federal regulations, we are not set up to repair or maintain dash A/C units. Thus we do NOT guarantee that any dash A/C units work. ALL A/C components are "AS IS". Most do work, but we will NOT be responsible for repairing of maintaining dash A/C components. Also, we do not guarantee the following (if installed) will operate: 1) satellite systems 2) security systems 3) non-factory add-ons 4) we cannot guarantee tire life or wear 5) spare tires are optional and are NOT standard equipment. This RV was just driven several hundred miles with no trouble. AT THE TIME OF THE LISTING the following was known... There are 2 roof AC units that both work. The engine or dash AC does not blow cold air. The 400hp DIESEL engine runs as it should, no problems. The Allison 6 speed automatic overdrive transmission shifts great also, no problems. At the time of the listing the Onan generator is in working condition. There is a fridge / freezer that works on LP gas or electric. For the buy it now price of $74999, if the rv has a location for a combo washer dryer, we will include a combo unit, for any other price, even if you see it, it is not included. For the no reserve auctions or rvs that do not have a combo unit, typically, we have some used units that we sell for $600 installed. We did NOT check every single light, drawer, storage door latch, heat, jacks if present, water, etc. Hopefully, they are good. We feel that since this motorhome is a repo and we are selling for a low profit, we are NOT planning to check or go over every single detail. Typically, we only check the roof top ac, the fridge and generator. WE can not cover, repair, or go over it all and make very little or low profit. So, our theory is to sell a lot at very little profit. This is good for you because it gives you a chance to own a RV for a VERY LOW price. As with any older RV, there is some delam or water damage. I generally state, just to cover myself, this coach does look better in pictures than in person. I guess the lighting makes the units look better. Over the past 10 years this unit has probably had some leaks, we do not know all of the history. So, we can not guarantee there has never been a leak, but, I can state that we typically re-seal the roof on most of our units, so, currently there should not be any leaks. We usually liquidate our inventory and only do a basic mechanical check out. We sold over 350 units in 2008. We sold over 100 units in the 4th quarter alone!!! YES, we sold over 100 units in the supposedly worst economy ever. We are selling them because we are CHEAP. So we are unable to take enough time to completely check out every thing on each unit. We will make sure the engine, transmission, over head air conditioner, refrigerator, and the generator operate normally (if/when applicable). These are the items most people are concerned with. We will also perform a basic check on the drivetrain, which consist of a test drive to determine if the engine transmission and brakes seem to perform properly. We will repair what is necessary. The REST is up to you!! The carpet looks good as you can see in the pictures. There are typically some stains here or there, but nothing to really be concerned about. The tires typically have good tread on 22.5 inch wheels, but they have older date codes. So, since you are most likely going to purchase this RV for a cheap price, just plan on purchasing 6 new tires to be safe. There is a local tire store that will install 6 new tires for approx $2100. For the buy it now price of $74999 we will include new tires. This coach has a 50 amp power cord hook up from the factory, as with most repos, the power cords are sometimes missing. Typically, a 30 amp power cord is approx $90 and a new 50amp power cord is $250. Sometimes we have used cords that we can sell for less. For the buy it now price of $74999 we will include a power cord. Also, the curtains or blinds are usually tattered and worn on these older units. When an appoitment is made to pick up your item, Karolina Koaches will have your item powered up so you can feel confident that the coach functions as described in this ebay ad. GENERALLY, the coach you are viewing is a Bank unit, that was repoed from an individual. I in turn bought it from the bank for the purpose of resell. However, if there was a major problem with the unit upon purchase V2GRV will either address/ correct the problem, or report the issue with in the ad. Just because the RV was repoed by the bank does not mean its life is over. Most of these RVs were voluntary turned back in, meaning "life" happened and the people could not longer keep the unit and turned it back to the bank. Sometimes some TLC may be needed on any used unit. This RV was purchased from a fellow RV dealer out of Florida. To my knowledge it is a trade in not a repo. The outside of the RV is probably in avg condition when compared to other 15 yr old RVs. The inside of the coach is probably in avg condition when compared to other 15 yr old rvs Interior is clean with no unpleasant odors of any kind (i.e. pet, smoke, musty, etc etc.) This coach approx 36 foot According to NADA. This RV was built by Monaco Coach. Monaco builds thier own chassis in house under the Roadmaster name This Monaco makes other RVs under the Holiday Rambler , Safari , Beaver line as well. The Diplomat can be compared to the HR Endeavor , and the Beaver Monterrey. The power plant is a Cummins ISB 275 HP direct injected diesel turbo charged motor. The motor seems to run like it should. Allison auto 6 speed. The transmission shifts up and down like it should We drove the motor home approx 600 miles with no problems. No oil consumption was noted on the trip home. This RV has the following options/features: Leveling Jacks Converter / small inverter electric Entry StepsPatio AwningSlide toppers Stove top Microwave Convection Oven TVlp furnace Washer Dryer combo unit hitch air rideair brakesengine brake This RV was just driven approx 600 miles with no trouble. There is a Onan 7500 quiet diesel generator. We let the generator run over an hour under a load to ensure a trouble free operation for the new owner There is are dual ducted ACs units that works. Ducted air Dash AC blows cold air of coarse it is 50 degrees or less, so its hard to tell just how cold the air really is There is a fridge / freezer that works on LP gas or electric. This means the RV / motorhome is not new so please do not expect new. If you are expecting a decent to nice 15 year old coach that is USED this is it. I generally state, just to cover myself, this coach does look better in pictures than in person. I guess the lighting makes the units look better. There are no known roof leaks at this time. metal roof Over the past 15 years I can not guarantee there has never been a roof leak, currently we have not seen any roof leaks. This coach can sleep a total of 6 There is room for two in the queen bed. The sleeper sofa converts to a bed for 2. Dinette sleeps 2 We are unable to take enough time to completely check out every thing on each unit. If and when applicable we will make sure the following is in proper working order: engine transmission over head air conditioner refrigerator generator operate normally (if/when applicable) pressure test the fresh water system plumbing. Hotwater Heater Furnace entry steps Slide(s) if applicable Patio Awning We will also preform a basic check on the drivetrain, which consist of a test drive to determine if the engine, transmission and brakes seem to perform properly. Top off the fluids to proper levels. We are usually selling older decent motorhomes at very low prices, we are not selling brand new or perfect units. We are offering a good quality unit at a very reasonable price, often times below retail and even below NADA Wholesale, in some cases or often times most likely will need TLC. The tires have good tread 22.5 inch wheels. . The tires are nearly new. They should be good for 3-4 more yrs under normal usage. The date code is 2010 This coach has a 50 amp power cord hook up from the factory. Also, the 'curtains' or blinds are usually 'tattered' and worn on these older units.c. I do not think you would have any trouble on the way home. I now feel that I have described this coach 'bad'. I would rather you to be happy and satisified than disappointed when you arrive. I tend to write ads making the RV sounds worse than I think it really is.. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:The speedometer does not work. There is a dash GPS to display the MPH. With that said the miles are counting up, but it does seem to be tracking them slow. This means the odometer indicates approx 50k miles, however it MAY have more. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Payment Types: Cash, wire transfer, or certiifed check title will be held for approx 7-8 Calender days Fees: Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license fees. The customer will be responsible for registering the vehicle in their own state. Deposit I require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of winning the auction, even on holidays, since paypal is never closed. Once the deposit has been received I will be happy to schedule an appointment for the pickup of your new home. Deposits are GENERALLY 50% refundable IF and ONLY IF the partial refund request is made in person. Otherwise it is non refundable. The deposit is due PRIOR to viewing/pickup or within 24 hours, whichever comes first. If you fail to send the deposit prior to arrival I reserve the right to NOT sell the item to you. The Buyer is responsible for a $295.00 dealer service fee aka documentation fee(this helps to cover the costs such as pre vehicle clean up, mailing, airport pick up ( when possible), a 30 day SC temporary permit provided by our dealership, and any other related expenses.) For scheduling a pickup please allow a MINIMUM of 48 hours after the auction ends to pick up your coach, our reason why... we may already have others scheduled and no time to work you in for the necessary time required to cover the delivery of an item. This means that the miles that read on the odometer are not guaranteed. This is NOT my rule or my method. I have nothing to do with this law. THIS IS FEDERAL LAW. What it does mean is that while the miles shown are NORMALLY correct, I do NOT guarantee it. How could I possibly know the complete history of a 10-15 year old vehicle that I have only owned for very short time? On vehicles 10 years old or older the titles can be labeled exempt for miles. A large percentage of the time the older RVs have an exhaust leak. I do NOT accept PayPal for final payment, PayPal is for deposit only. After you have inspected the coach and all is well, we can go for a test drive and exchange positive feedback. Winning bidder must contact the dealership within 24 hours of the auction close and the purchase transaction completed within 5 calendar days.
