This trailer was 'CUSTOMIZED' in the early spring of 2015.We used a 'NEW' standard trailer frame, which included the frame, axle, wheels, tires, A-frame coupler, and complete wiring harness with lights.We upgraded most of the hardware.A custom built 'oak' base block was made for the trailer lift jack out of ( 1 3/4" ) thick stock, using (9) 3/8" new bolts.The trailer safety chains were upgraded to a 5/16" link with safety clips.The 'Top-Wind' frame jack includes a caster assembly with a 6" wheel and a jack foot plate ( 4"x 7 1/2" ).We added bearing protector caps with grease fittings.Trailer tires: 5.30-12" (4 ply tread / 3 ply side wall).There are (4) heavy duty 'galvanized' stake brackets (for 2"x4"s) mounted on the frame sides, with (6) additional stake brackets for the front end extension sides (included, but not mounted).The ( 5' x 9 1/2' ) 'CUSTOM' deck is made out of ( 1" x 5 1/2" ) solid 'Douglas Fir' planks.The (11) deck planks are mounted to the sub-deck planks with almost (600) coated deck screws. The (5) sub-deck planks ( 1" x 5 1/2" ) are mounted directly to the frame of the trailer with bolts.We bolted (8) HEAVY DUTY ' D-Ring ' tie-down anchors through the deck onto the trailer frame.There is a 'CUSTOM" extension to the front of the deck, which adds 1 1/2' to the deck length, ( 11'4" overall length ).The frame for the extension is made of solid 'oak' beams and secured with heavy duty deck screws and is also mounted to the frame with bolts.The deck was recently ( Labor Day Weekend 2015 ) sanded and coated with an exterior 'Varathane' oil finish.The new 'oak' base block for the trailer jack was also coated with the 'Varathane' oil.Loading ramps 9" x 72" are optional for $60.I have included some photos above, showing some of our 'Specialty Projects', which we transported on this extremely stable trailer. Selling my Triton Elite 18SB 4 Place Snowmobile, ATV Trailer in excellent, used condition. Optional Triton Salt Shields/Front Ramps, rear stow able aluminum loading ramp, "E" load rated tires, 2000 lb tongue jack & front axle hydraulic surge brakes...deck is 18', 22' including the "V". I am the second owner of around 10 years, I added the front ramps about 5 years ago, worth every penny especially for sleds without reverse. I've used the trailer to haul snowmobiles, ATVs, golf carts and large automotive project parts, it has never let me down. Just installed all new pressure treated 5/8" plywood decking with new zinc coated hardware.Wheels & tires are brand new, galvanized wheels with upgraded load "E" rated tires (originals were "C" load rated).New lug studs & chrome closed lugs, installed with plenty of anti-seize so you won't have to struggle like I did with the original open lugs.New brake hard lines & flex hoses, brake fluid & bled, original lines had a couple rust spots/failure points so I just ran all new.New 2000 lb tongue jack with dual wheels.New items mentioned are NEW, just installed for this sale, I pulled it for a 15 mile test ride including about 10 on the highway and parked it in storage. All the lights work, hubs recently greased (factory EZ lube caps), literally ready to roll...lightweight aluminum construction and no-hassle hydraulic surge brakes means all you need is a 2" ball & 4 pin wiring to pull this with just about any vehicle. Note: I altered the picture of the trailer ID tag to obscure the serial number, it is intact and currently registered in Michigan. Buyer will be provided bill of sale and the signed registration. Included: 4 (original) ski tie down bars with screw/hold down bolts, bolts are stainless steel and in good condition, bars are a little crusty but work fine.4 (original) silver rims with original tires for spares, they have corrosion and dry rot but still hold air. Trailer, 2005 American Hauler 20ft drive on drive off 4 Place, purchased used and modifies for my needs, Ski Guide/Runners, Floor Tie Downs, Track Matts, Helmet rack, Mounted Tool and Parts Cabinet, Removable Gear Hooks, Spare Tire. The Hitch, Tough and Frame were sprayed with Truck Bed Liner but does show wear in places. Tough is set up for equalizer and sway bars hitch. I also wired the trailer for 110 Volt Shore Power with 110v Electric Lights and Plugs. I carried a generator in bed of truck and connected it to trailer so we could use a small space heater. This was nice at Trail Heads for changing cloths or working on sleds, also could run heater and thaw sleds while driving. While trailer is parked can connect 110V power for battery tenders and lights. Item will be available for pick up on January 23 or later in Van Buren Ohio (45889).
