Nicely detailed with flannel headlining and double padded carpet. Neat pass through wall allows for easy access from the inside, along with fold down tables. Duel mini closets on the sides. Roomy 5' wide x 6' long x 48" high sleeping area. Vintage looking battery op' dome lights. No Fridge, no sink, no 12v, just like back in the day. Real vintage louver windows with screens. All new locking door and rear hatch hardware. Complete frame up build, primered and painted. All new wiring , lighting, and tongue hitch. This is a new custom built scaled down vintage trailer reproduction. It is plated. Was specifically built in this scale to fit in your garage. This was built from the ground up, everything brand new. All led lights, 2in ball, jalousie windows, bamboo hardwood floors, built to fit a full size mattress (54"), 6'8" tall, 12' long, 79" wide. Up for sale is this nice old original Mullins trailer. They were only made in 1936 and 1937. Very few originals survive although it is the most copied small trailer today due to it's enormous styling appeal. Here is your chance to have a nice original instead of a plastic reproduction. Although the trailer remains in excellent condition for it's 77 year age, it does need a light restoration. It has been repainted and lots of sanding marks show through on the top. It has a few dents and dings and a very light amount of the rust through along the front lower edge that is so typical on these unrestored trailers, so I'm told. The ball hitch was replaced but the original is with the trailer. Two new reproduction tail lights and a new rubber lip seal for the lid are included. The light brackets are incorrect but new reproductions of the originals are available as are the original hub cabs. I am including two 16 inch wheels in the same artillery style as the original 17s would have been. I can store the trailer indoors for 30 days and would like it picked up in that time frame. Of course I can't be responsible for unforeseen events that might damage the trailer. And as always, I can work with you if something comes up. I do not have a connection with any shipper and that will be the buyers responsibility. Also note that I am in the geographical center of the US and a long ways from either coast. To mark its 75th anniversary, Shasta RV produced 1,941 copies of the company’s iconic 1961 Shasta Airflyte travel trailer. On the outside, you likely won’t be able to distinguish the old from the new. On the inside: The reproduction anniversary Shasta will get a vintage look like the original, too, but with modern mechanicals and plumbing. Birch cabinet doors with chevron cabinet pulls; birch plywood elsewhere in the interior. Countertops with dogbone-pattern Formica trimmed in polished aluminum edging. LED lighting reproduced to look like the original ’61 Shasta Airflyte gas lamp. Jalousie windows! Bench seating upholstered in two-tone, tuck-and-roll pleather with silver welt; red has a bit of an aged look. Black-and-white checkerboard vinyl floor. And you’ll notice – that reproduction birch Shasta magazine rack hanging on the wall! Mechanicals – like the stove, microwave, toilet, shower – are new, but chosen to harmonize with the retro interior. Air conditioner. Shasta Airflyte 16 Layout The 2016 Shasta Airflyte 16 is a redesign of the 1961 Shasta Airflyte travel trailer that has a goucho pull out in the rear along with overhead cabinets. A second goucho pullout is located in the rear along with a toilet and a shower. The kitchen in this trailer comes with a pantry, refrigerator, cooktop, microwave and an overhead cabinet. A large dinette and a 32-inch table complete this travel trailer. Shasta Airflyte 16 Features Shasta has created a nearly exact replica of it s iconic 1961 Shasta Airflyte 16SC travel trailer complete with the legendary Shasta wings. Shasta has paid close attention to duplicate every small detail down to the original Shasta logo magazine rack.
