Roadtrek is Americas number one selling Class B Van and there quality is second to none. The N6 was modeled after the old Volkswagen Pop-Top Camper Vans and the Westfalia Vans, but unlike the light duty and many times undependable Volkswagen vans, Roadtrek utilized the new Nissan NV Vans. Nissan first introduced the NV Van line in 2012 and looked to compete with Ford and GM in there domestic and commercial van line. They have taken a large market share and with Ford now utilizing a much lighter European Van, the Nissan NV has made a major impact on the US Van market. These are built on the same chassis as the Nissan Titan and boast a 5.6L V-8 Gas Motor. They are offered in a 1/2ton, 3/4ton, and 1ton based configuration. This van was purchased new in Sunny Southern Arizona and belonged to a older couple in Tucson Arizona. Unfortunately they did not use the camper portion of the van but a few times, in fact the interior looks new and the fridge appears to have been never used, the plastic was still inside the microwave. The van now has just over 14,000 miles which includes me personally traveling in the van over the Memorial day weekend. I can tell you the van has NOT been smoked in and with the exception of my little dog riding in my lap, it has been pet free. The seats are all in excellent condition and everything works as it should. As nice and clean as this van is, it is not without flaw. The previous owner's health had dwindled and his depth perception has starting to fail, so the van does have some bumps and bruises. Additionally I can tell you the van does have some paint work from minor scrapes and such. I have personally inspected the van and can tell you that all of the sheet metal appears to be original it has not been involved in any major accident, the vehicle history report backs this up. We will have a paintless dent repair specialist repair all of the door dings in the van and it will look great. I am confident that any previous damage was due to failing sight and health and minor in its extent. With seating for up to 7 adults, this van was made for travel. It has 4 captain seats and a rear bench seat that makes into a full size bed , while the top can be extended and you can sleep 2 up top as well. All of the lighting is LED and consumes very little power while dry camping. There is a 1250 watt power inverter/charger (2 brand new deep cycle batteries)that will operate the fridge, microwave, and still have plenty of power to operate the laptops, iPads, and what ever else you may need to plug in. It is equipped with a 5 gallon freshwater tank and a 5 gallon grey water tank. The sink does have a built in water heater. When I first learned of the massive 5.6L V-8 Powerplant I assumed this would be a real gas hog, but was anxious to drive such a powerful class B Van. I can tell you I was impressed in all angles. This van will do 90mph in a flash and I was able to maintain 16.3mpg at speeds ranging from 70-80mph and passing many cars on desolate country roads. I put about 900 miles on the van and drove on anything from in town driving to interstate to small 2 lane roads. There is no lack of power and I can see where the 9,000lb towing capacity comes from. The ride itself is consistent of a 3/4ton van, better than a 3/4ton diesel truck, but nowhere near a highend luxury car. Roadtrek is not producing the N6 any longer, I feel this simply wasn't marketed properly. I have spoken with a few people from Roadtrek and they had mixed feelings. PleasureWay(another Class B RV Builder out of Canada) has built numerous Pop-Top Camper Vans, but this was Roadtreks first attempt at a Pop-Top. I am unaware of any issues and from speaking with others, they did really have any problems, they simply didn't know exactly there target market and the initial price was relatively high. I feel these are great units that have lots of potential. I would label these to be a "Cross Over SUV/RV". You can drive it as a regular van and at the drop of a hat, go RVing. These will fit in any home garage and at just over 20ft in length, they will fit in a normal parking spot. It has all of the creature comforts of a SUV, power windows and locks, deep tinted glass, reverse camera and reverse sensors, Navigation, running boards, cruise control, keyless entry, Front and Rear Air Conditioning and Heat.....and so much more. 1978 Classic Dodge Tradesman Hitop Conversion Van -- SELF Contained LivingOdometer reads 97,707, but rebuilt engine was put in about 3K miles ago! It's It's 41 years old, so it's not perfect, but certainly good and serviceable condition. It is completely self contained, and legal to park on the streets. These babies are hard to find, especially with the high top. I love a nice Westfalia, but with a strong 5.2L V8 and 5.2 L engine, there's no comparison here. It may not look like it, but this van can pass cars on the highway without hesitating. Also, this van definitely wins on style points in my book... AND....Equipped with a new Hydrogen Converter Unit, which increases the gas mileage dramatically...almost 50%.INTERIOR / CAMPER:Interior is extremely comfortable, and there is plenty of storage -- great for long trips or Full Time RVers. The cab has original vinyl seats sun visors, headliner, armrests; all in great shape. No rips or tears...or icky smell.Fully self contained toilet, kitchen (including refrigerator, 3 burner stove with oven), sink and furnace! Fridge works on Propane, battery, or 110 plug in.Spacious closed with shelves, overhead storage, and plenty of cabinets.Futon folds down into full size bed.Auxiliary RV battery under futon, and 2 inverters. Previous owner used to run a microwave oven.No air conditioning (not in the dash or on the roof). This unit does not have a generator. Comes with some original manuals, and records of all major work, including engine warranty.***I have never used the propane furnace. It lights, but I have no idea how to make it stay on. I was told by the previous owner that it needs to be adjusted. The hinge on one of the cabinets needs to be repaired/replaced. The handle to the air vent is broken, but still useable.MECHANICAL:Runs GREAT.REUBILT 318 V8 (S & J engines, Inc ) 1/16 --with 7 year non-prorated warrantyNew Gages, Radiator, Cooling system, Power steering. It's time to sell our 91 Winnebago Micro Warrior, we have loved having it and have traveled all over the Colorado Rockies in it. This Toyota has the most coveted engine of all the Toyota motor homes, the 3.0L V6 has amazing stamina--it gets AMAZING gas mileage for a motor home, while still driving strong-much stronger than the older 22re 4 cylinder engines. Our Warrior runs like a champ, we have gone up and over Eisenhower Pass (Elevation 11,158 feet, the highest point in the US Interstate System) many times holding 50 MPH fully loaded. Cruising the flats it gets 17-18 MPG. It has an overdrive off switch and a transmission power switch which really help in the mountains. I looked at LOTS of Toyota motor homes before buying this one and the thing I really like about the Winnebago is that interior parts a way better quality than any of the others I saw. It has things like a solid one piece floor when other ones have seams that flex and bend, it has solid oak cupboard doors when other have pressed wood that fall apart, it's build with a welded aluminum coach frame when others just use wood, nails and glue, the door frame is one solid piece of shaped aluminum to give it more strength, the walls are sandwiched laminated with a thick insulation so it's quiet and holds temperatures well. Winnebago certainly made the best version of these little Toyota motor homes. You can get other motor homes that compare in fuel mileage but they cost 5-10 times as much to buy and would cost waaaay more to maintain because they have Mercedes diesel engines, plus diesel is 65 cents per gallon more than gas. The motor home is equipped with:Sleeping for 5/6 -Fold Out Couch, Fold Down Dinette, LoftFull Kitchen with Microwave and Gas Stove/ Oven and Range HoodHot and Cold water in the Kitchen, Bathroom, and ShowerFridge/ Freezer combo that runs on propane or electricityLarge Closet in BathroomSlide Away Bathroom DoorCOLD Roof AC -- Shore Power or Generator PowerInterior Generator On/Off Switch2 Deep Cycle Batteries to run Lights, Water, Range Hood, Furnace Fan, and Skylight FanAutomatic Battery Charger and Power Converter with Automatic Starting Battery IsolationLevel Gauge for Batteries, Black Water, Gray Water, Fresh WaterAutomatic Thermostat for the Propane FurnaceOriginal Owners Manual Over the last month I have remolded, refurbished, or replaced every single piece of the interior and exterior of the coach. It was really fun and TONS of work but here is what I did: First I sanded and stripped every inch of the interior then tore up the old carpet and removed all the old fixtures and light coverings. Then I tore out all the upholstery because it was ugly and sent it off to be professionally reupholstered. When the couch was out I rebuilt the skirting and framework for the couch. Then I washed and vacuumed every surface of the interior and masked off everything I did not want to paint. I sprayed 3 layers of Kills Primer and then put 5 coats of semi-gloss on. I picked semi-gloss so it would be easy to clean up scuffs. I installed a floating hardwood floor so it would be quick and easy to clean and sweep. I finished the floor edges with quarter round and calked all the seams then built a new entryway/mud room out of the heavy rubber they use in horse trailers. I finished all the entryway seams with aluminum to secure it and give it a nice finished look. For the shower cut out all the old silicon and used an industrial marine enamel to refinish it, then I redid all the silicon. Some of the drawers needed to be rebuilt so I did that and lined each one with a decorative foam to keep sound down while you are driving. All of the pulls on the drawers got replaced with modern brushed nickle handles. I removed all metal covers and guards along with the stove door and painted them to match each other. I used the same material that I picked for the couch to reupholster the fridge door. Some of the plumbing was cracking so I replaced everything that was in bad shape. I bought new covers for all the lights along with new bulbs. I decided to recover the whole loft with a soft gray wall carpet and delete the long front window so it would be a nice place to sleep and not have too much light and heat cooking you in the morning. I removed all the ugly old blinds and sewed these curtains, they are light stopping so you can't see from the outside in when they are drawn. I bought all new linens and pillows for the interior. The generator was running poorly so I did and full service and rebuilt the carburetor now it fires right up and runs great. The exterior was completely cleaned and decreased then sanded, buffed and polished. I refinished the rear bumper and redid all the roof seals even though it was not leaking. I stripped and sanded each rim then refinished them along with the spare. The tires are all commercial grade and the tread has 95%. I replaced all the exterior light covers and repaired any exterior damage I could find. If you read all that you know that this is one of the best Toyota motor homes in the country, everywhere we go people want to look inside and say "Wow, I wish this was ours!" I would jump in it and drive to Maine tonight without a worry. Give me a call, I have a flexible schedule.Happy Camping! I don't want to mess with checks or trade, so cash only please.
