For RV's please note that motorized RV's are built on chassis's that are purchased typically the end of the year prior. RV's are typically titled when the RV's mfg. process is complete (usually the next year). Sometimes the RV is titled as the chassis (year prior). Example: Fleetwood purchases a chassis from Freightliner Aug. 2000. Fleetwood builds a Discovery Coach on the chassis and it is completed in May 2001. The majority of the time this coach will be titled 2001 Discovery; however, in some cases it will be titled 2000 Freightliner.
