GENERALLY, the coach you are viewing is a REPO unit and a few are trade-ins. This means that this is your chance to own a great USED coach for a very low price. With the REPO RVs, there is usually some TLC needed. We generally have generic descriptions for our ebay auctions. Sometimes, we may forget something or make a mistake about some detail. So, please give us a call for a walk around description to ensure that we have good communications about this RV. This RV is in avg conidtion inside and outside when compared to fellow other 5-6 yr old RVs. Please note typical strip fading and cracking is taking place This coach is approx 25 according to nada This coach is a Coachmen Freelander Diesel Sprinter van chassis. This RV was just driven several hundred miles with no trouble. 600 to be exact There is a roof AC unit that works. The engine or dash AC does blow cold air. The Mercedes Benz DIESEL engine runs as it should, no problems. The 5 speed automatic overdrive transmission shifts great also, no problems. At the time of the listing the Onan generator is in working condition. There is a fridge / freezer that works on LP gas or electric. Many of the RVs currently have a washer dryer installed. Typically ,we plan to remove the unit unless the winning bidder wants to purchase the unit for $500 in addition to the bid price. We did NOT check every single light, drawer, storage door latch etc. Hopefully, they are good. We feel that since this motorhome is a repo and we are selling for a low profit, we are NOT planning to check or go over every single detail. WE can not cover, repair, or go over it all and make very little or low profit. So, our theory is to sell a lot at very little profit. This is good for you because it gives you a chance to own a RV for a VERY LOW price. As with any older RV, there is usually some delam or water damage.Sometimes we do not have all of the keys for each door, due to being a REPO. I guess the lighting makes the units look better. There are no known roof leaks at this time. We sold over 350 units in 2008. We sold over 100 units in the 4th quarter alone!!! YES, we sold over 100 units in the supposedly worst economy ever. We are selling them because we are CHEAP. So we are unable to take enough time to completely check out every thing on each unit. We will make sure the engine, transmission, over head air conditioner, refrigerator, and the generator operate normally (if/when applicable). These are the items most people are concerned with. We will also perform a basic check on the drivetrain, which consist of a test drive to determine if the engine transmission and brakes seem to perform properly. We will repair what is necessary. The REST is up to you!! The carpet looks good as you can see in the pictures. There are typically some stains here or there, but nothing to really be concerned about. The tires typically have good tread on 16 inch wheels, but they have older date codes. So, since you are most likely going to purchase this RV for a cheap price, just plan on purchasing 6 new tires to be safe. There is a local tire store that will install 6 new tires for approx $1250. This coach has a 30 amp power cord hook up from the factory, as with most repos, the power cords are sometimes missing. Also, the curtains or blinds are usually tattered and worn on these older units. The Mercedes chassis is the absolute finest motorhome chassis to drive and I’ve owned and driven many over the last 30 years. This motorhome is absolutely solid and drives like a modern SUV or van and very comfortable at 70 mph even in very strong cross winds. There are lots of mileage claims but I typically drive with the traffic at highway speeds (70 mph typically) and consistently record 14.5-18 mpg. I am only selling due to extensive long range travel needs for the next few busy years. I plan to buy another Sprinter motorhome when I return. The 24SR was the floor plan to wait for as I watched the development of these Mercedes RVs. I purchased it new in April of 2013. It has two very useful slides. The rear queen bed extends out the back with access from both sides. We added a memory foam topper and sleeps identical to our home bedding. The living area couch slides out to give a very comfortable living/working space. With the front captain’s chairs rotated you have very comfortable sitting room for four. These units come with about every option so I’ve listed a condensed list in the pics section. The Thor website gives a comprehensive listing for the Citation Sprinter SR features. The couch has a large pull-out storage bin, and folds out into another queen size powered air-bed. Overhead is a 1-2 person sleeping area that folds up out of the way for travel and daily use. With the ample cabinetry we’ve always had space to spare. Outside storage compartments are large and useful all-around. I have re-foamed the parameters on all to complete the seal that is not done at the factory. I have also added a custom 'power real' for the power cable. It makes set up a breeze but also frees up the compartment for other storage uses. Other add-ons installed are a hard-wired power input protection system with remote digital readout and an engine battery stationary charging system. I have complete maintenance records since new. All servicing has been done by (and as per recommended intervals) our Mercedes dealer, World Wide Motors, Inc. Indianapolis. Note the motorhome is available to view at my residence in the Columbus, Indiana area. The motorhome needs nothing and is completely ready for use. The roof airs that runs on electric if plugged into shore power or can run off electric the generator produces while traveling down the road is cold. The fridge that runs off electric from shore power or generator as well as propane that is stored under coach in a tank is cold. Plumbing and electric work fine as pictured. The Mercedes diesel motor starts right up and has plenty of power. The automatic overdrive transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The brakes stop the coach on a dime. Very easy unit to drive and you do NOT need a cdl. We do clean all of our units; however, rarely as well as a new owner would.
