This one's not an auction. We've got our best price, right here in the ad. This is a SEVEN-day listing, unlike our usual ten day listings. Why? It saves me a few bucks to list it for 7 days, and since we're not making anything on it at this price...we're saving every penny we can! And no - offering to buy it outside of eBay won't save you a cent. I pay my fees when an item is LISTED, not when it's SOLD - since you're reading this, it means I've paid my fees already, so you might as well just click that button and buy it! For all you "rock bottom" shoppers out there...THIS is your unit! No bidding, no haggling, the price shown here is as low as it's going to get. All of this doesn't mean it's a "bad" unit...it's just housecleaning time on our fully-packed lot. This camper has been here for a while, for one reason or another (color, age, weight, layout, whatever), and with all the fresh trade-ins we're getting it's time for us to make some space. That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. This is another nice clean older Coleman that we took on trade here at our dealership, and overall it is in nice condition both inside and out. These older Colemans are desirable - they built them very well and they LAST! You can see that with this camper - it's thirteen years old now, but everything is in really nice shape, and now is the time to buy because we've got some great prices on these popups. Place your bid - you never know where the reserve may be, you just might be able to steal yourself a camper here! This Santa Fe has a nice clean interior - no odors, lots of storage space, good upholstery, nice curtains, nice mattresses and good looking appliances. You get a nice 3 way fridge to keep your food cold; an LP furnace to keep you nice and warm on those cooler nights; there's a 3 burner cooktop inside and a portable LP grille for outside (that's the bag under the dinette table). And you have a galley sink that can run either off city water hookup, or from the 10 gallon under-floor tank. The floors are solid and all the furnishings look great, and so do the tents. There are a couple small ripples in the ceiling from past water leaks, but that's not unusual on these campers with the bike rack setup on the roof - people forget to seal them until after they see the ripples. But we've had crazy-heavy rain here lately and nothing inside the camper feels wet, so I'm guessing it was exactly like I said - the owner let the seals slide one rainstorm too long, they saw the ripples pop up, and then they re-sealed the roof (like you're supposed to do every year, on any RV, new or used). But that's it - a couple ripples that barely show up in the photos. If you're looking for a nice, well-equipped nicely-built popup camper to get started camping, or just to have as an "extra" camper? This could be a great choice! Just like the inside, the outside of this one looks great. Nice tents and screens, good graphics, no signs of accident damage, nice stepper door, good looking tires. It's just...nice, and clean, and straight. And you do have a luggage rack up top with standard bike rack mounts (they're either Yakima or Thule, I couldn't tell which logo was on them), so if you want you can add bike clamps or kayak clamps or whatever-clamps you want, so you can head out to the wilderness with your exercise toys right there on top of your popup! Just keep the roof sealed around those rails, and you'll get years and years of fun out of this camper! Why do we sell on eBay? Exposure, plain and simple. We want as many people as possible to see our items, so we can sell more of them. What do we sell on eBay? Mainly RV's - we're an RV dealer, and we sell clear-title, private-party trade-ins. He began designing and producing Palomino pop-up tent trailers in a small building in Savage, Minnesota. As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors. In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been. The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino. In 2005, Forest River, Inc. and it's divisions were acquired by Berkshire Hathaway. Palomino RV operates as a separate division of Forest River Inc., and has grown from humble beginnings in Minnesota to one of the top 5 RV manufacturing facilities in North America. Speaking of rolling, you can roll as fast as you please thanks to the big 8.1 Vortec V8 engine that is putting out 340 horsepower. That's more than most diesels! It rides on the heavy-duty Workhorse chassis with the extra-large 22.5" wheels wrapped with Michelin tires just like on a semi! It even has triple electric steps to make it easier to get in & out plus the raised chassis gives you a flat floor so there's no big hump to climb over to get into the front seats. Look around the rest of the exterior, it shines just like new thanks to the gelcoat body with extra nice stripes. The bumper corners have no signs of parking lot damage. This coach has led a sheltered life and it shows!The interior continues the standard set by the exterior by immersing you in the lap of luxury with such accoutrements as Corian counters, porcelain head, glass shower enclosure, and more! Up front is a BIG 32" LCD flat screen television. The Whirpool microwave is bigger than the ones in your kitchen at home...it's BIG. The large queen bed features a rear window option over the headboard which we love plus there are two large mirrored closets next to the bed for even more spaciousness as well as another brand new LCD TV. Using two ducted Coleman roof a/c units, Sea Breeze achieves true residential style circular flow of properly cooled or heated, filtered air. We really love this bathroom floorplan. It gives you access from the side hallway AND the bedroom and includes a large neo-angle glass shower along with a head that has enough space for you to really use it w/o being cramped. There's even closet space in the bathroom. It's really like being at home. The exterior includes pass-through basement storage plus a HUGE bay under the living room slide that is nearly 20ft long. We've never seen a basement compartment this big..there's enough room for the kitchen sink and then some!We picked this coach up at a bank auction in Texas then drove it nearly 500 miles back to our place here in Mississippi with NO PROBLEMS. When we tell you that this coach is ready to hit the road, we aren't just whistling Dixie...we've put it to the test! It has a matching set of Michelin tires that have excellent tread. With only 54K on the odometer, the 340-HORSEPOWER 8.1 Vortec V8 is barely broken-in! The Onan Marquis 5500 genset purrs like a kitten as well. We have had our mechanic go over all the major systems to make sure they're in proper working order. This coach has led a sheltered life and it shows! The interior continues the standard set by the exterior by immersing you in the lap of luxury with such accoutrements as Corian counters, porcelain head, glass shower enclosure, and more! That's not a cheap jacknife sofa...it folds out flat. Up front is a BIG 32" (37"?) LCD flat screen television. The Whirpool microwave is bigger than the ones in your kitchen at home...it's BIG. The large queen bed features a rear window option over the headboard which we love plus there are two large mirrored closets next to the bed for even more spaciousness. We even have the original manuals to go along with this coach. Using two ducted Coleman roof a/c units, Dolphin achieves true residential style circular flow of properly cooled or heated, filtered air. We really love this bathroom floorplan. It gives you access from the side hallway AND the bedroom and includes a large neo-angle glass shower along with a head that has enough space for you to really use it w/o being cramped. There's even closet space in the bathroom. It's really like being at home. The exterior includes pass-through basement storage plus a HUGE bay under the living room slide that is nearly 20ft long. We've never seen a basement compartment this big..there's enough room for the kitchen sink and then some! We picked this coach up last year at a bank auction in Florida then drove it nearly 800 miles back to our place here in Mississippi with NO PROBLEMS. We used it all last football season to go to Ole Miss football games as well as quite a few baseball games. Mr. Landey had been a tent trailer distributor for several years when he felt he could design and produce better quality units than were currently being offered to the public. He would design units which were lightweight and offered convenient floorplans at affordable prices. He began designing and producing Palomino pop-up tent trailers in a small building in Savage, Minnesota. As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors. In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been. The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino. In 2005, Forest River, Inc. and it's divisions were acquired by Berkshire Hathaway. Palomino RV operates as a separate division of Forest River Inc., and has grown from humble beginnings in Minnesota to one of the top 5 RV manufacturing facilities in North America.
