This trailer was purchased new by my Dad in 1997. I bought it from him in 1999. It has seen very little use and is in very good condition. The trailer is an Adams A2H Commanche. It is a bumper pull with a removable center divider between the stalls. Step-up load (no ramp). Overall interior length is 10'6", with 7" in the stall and 3'6" manger area. Inside height is 6'6". Inside width is 6'. Additional specs as follows: 3500 lb. 5 lug 4 brake torsion axles 4" low profile roof Semi-round front Large tack compartment below manger with doors on each side Saddle rack and bridle hooks in tack compartment 1 escape door in right stall Two manger feed doors Quarter Horse back doors Tail Bars Treated floor covered with mats Jalousie window in front Bus windows on sides Gravel Guard on front Spare tire rack on front All necessary interior and running lights My Dad kept this trailer outside, but it has been garage kept since I purchased it. I have used it less than 20 times in the 15+ years I have owned it. (Daughter went to college and horses stayed home). I replaced the tires recently and they have less than 150 miles on them. I also recently replaced the break-away battery and the spare tire cover. State Inspection was done earlier this month. My daughter returned to the area and we planned to use this trailer to go to local shows. We took it a few weekends ago. It hauled beautifully and performed very well. Her horse is much too large to travel comfortably in this trailer and we have purchased a larger one. Issues: There a few places where a horse attempted to eat the trailer - leaving some small scrapes in the paint. We covered them with trailer stickers. You can see the scrapes and where the paint faded from the stickers, which we have since removed. The horse also removed the weather stripping around the feed doors and those we completely replaced with new from the Dalton factory. The black fender tread was also replaced at that time. One of the horses hauled in this trailer was a trailer kicker and left dents in the interior of the back doors. There are a few places of small surface rust consistent with a trailer of this age. This is an all steel trailer. GVW 2400 lb. Our new trailer will be ready for pick-up next week. I won't let this one go until I have the new one in hand on 5/5. Priced at $4,500 OBO.
