I have for sale a home-built teardrop. It measures 6 feet wide by 8 feet long and comes with a small unfinished kitchenette in the back. There is a sink but no water pump. This was a summer project that's lost steam. It's light enough to be towed by a car and has a queen sized bed in it with overhead cubby holes. It was built on a boat trailer. SHOW OR GO. Being offered for sale is a totally restored, vintage early 1960s model SERRO SCOTTY SPORTSMAN. Created over fifty years ago, its style perfectly fits the current rage for tear drop campers. Its not retro –its original. At 13 feet long (including the tongue) and 82 inches high, this will comfortably fit in most any garage. Weighing only 1,300 pounds, it is easy to tow even with a small four cylinder modern or antique car. Stand up comfortably, electrical outlets, air conditioned, refrigerator, two sleeping areas and a dinette combine to make this an outstanding display and camping unit. Perfectly suited to be displayed and appreciated at an antique car show or while camping in the great outdoors, this rare vintage classic and its retro design commands a lot of attention everywhere it goes! The exterior and interior have been COMPLETELY RESTORED throughout to better than original condition. The restoration process has been a labor of love where the original specifications are met or most often exceeded and where no time or expense has been spared. The skin is all new and new wood structure throughout including the recessed floor, the sides and the horizontal ribbing. The unit is completely insulated and the interior cabinetry and sleeping areas are totally rebuilt to the original specifications created from rustic wood with stained and varnished surfaces throughout. The EXTERIOR is completely sealed. It is freshly painted in the original, immediately recognized aqua and white color scheme. A totally new skin and frame, new moon hubcaps, new Scotty decals front and back, all new lights, roof and both ends seamless and new front rock guard. An awning rail has been installed to provide for additional covered area, if desired. Opening the new door reveals the rustic air conditioned INTERIOR and its stained woodwork throughout. As you step into the sunken carpeted floor, you realize that you can easily STAND UP inside. Directly ahead is the galley cabinetry with virtually every inch designed to provide maximum storage for all your camping essentials. The unit has a new air conditioner and a new electric refrigerator. The double bed with new mattress is the rear section of the camper and the forward section dinette section easily converts into another sleeping area including new bedding. Additional storage is available throughout the interior and also accessed through two exterior cargo doors. The MECHANICS are up to date and in complete working order, travel ready and dependable. Everything has been completely rewired with 110 volt, double breaker fuse box, 4 interior receptacles, an interior light and an outside receptacle. As was the original design, the air conditioning unit is mounted under the rear bed and vented out the bottom through the two storage and access areas. The camper rides on a new Southwest Wheel Company adjustable axle with new wheels and tires (including spare), new tongue, jack and ball receiver. The wheel bearings are freshly packed and ready to roll! It tows easy and straight as an arrow. This is sold on a bill of sale and most likely would be licensed as a cargo trailer. For sale here is an aqua 2010 Dutchman T@B travel trailer. Model number is TBTQT-F10. The camper weighs 1600 pounds without any gear. It has a jockey wheel and handles at the corners to make it extremely easy for one person to move it. This is a very unique, eye-catching camper. We always receive compliments on this camper every time we take it out. It is in wonderful condition. It has a very desirable, L-shaped counter-top interior with the front window. There is a fully functioning fridge and freezer, a recessed two burner stove that runs on gas, and a recessed sink that you can either hook into water at the campsite, or use the included 5 gallon water container. The air conditioning is amazing. It is a cool cat air-conditioner that has never disappointed with how cold it can keep you. The AC is available when you are plugged into a 30 amp campsite. There is also a 12 inch screen DVD player that folds down from the top shelf. The interior U-shaped couch has a table that when folded down creates a very nice queen-sized bed. The original interior is a very neat green and blue pattern. The interior cushions were covered by blue corduroy that is in beautiful condition. It is removable if you preferred the original interior (which is in perfect condition since it was always covered.) When purchased, we had the LP furnace removed (we knew it would never be used in Florida), and it freed up more storage space underneath. The LP furnace is included. All of its parts that are necessary are provided. If you desire to have that connected back up, you could take it to an RV dealer and have it reinstalled. Speaking of storage space, there is a lot. Up front, there are three small cupboards above the sink. Below the counter, there are five different cupboards of various sizes. There is storage under the seats, as well as three cabinets in the back over the bed. On the walls, I hung a tic-tac-toe shelf, a small shelf, and a round mirror. They are removable if you choose, but are included. The curtain rods are magnetically mounted, but the curtains are not included. When you're looking at the pictures, items like throw pillows, kitchen accessories (e.g. potholders and towels) are also not included. Any exterior camping accessories such as the lights, chairs, and table are also not included. The top roof vent was replaced in 2012. The original one deteriorated and blew off during travel. It did leave a scratch high on the top/back of the trailer. It is not very noticeable and not deep. The only other flaw on this camper is on the blind that covers the circle window on the door. The dealer re-glued the top carpeting on the ceiling of the trailer and left a small thumb sized glue mark on the blind. The battery was replaced in 2012. The gas tank was seldom used to cook, and has never been refilled. I'm not sure how much propane is left in the tank. My estimate on total mileage is about 2,000 miles.Exterior Length 15'6"Exterior Width 6'7"Exterior Height 7'9"Interior Length 10'3"Interior Height 5'9"Weight 1600 pounds In 2011, I purchased a cover for this travel trailer. It is not the exact fit but definitely did the trick. The only flaw on the cover is a tear near the zippers since the zipper for the door on the cover didn't align perfectly with the door of the trailer. It has always been kept covered. The cover itself is definitely dirty on the exterior. I have never tried to wash it since it is so large. The cover is included in the sale of the camper. In one of the pictures there is shown an event tent. This is a Coleman tent that cost $200. Using PVC tubing to raise the tent off the ground, it fit perfectly over the arc of the camper. It is easiest for me to show it on the weekends. There is a lien on the camper, so I do not have title in hand. I have had more request for one of these T@Bs than just about anything else . Very few of these where made new (built by Dutchmen) and it would not surprise me if there is just a couple others for sale online in the entire USA right now . This is a 2005 T@B T3 which is the best . Even though it looks and shines like stainless it is a full body paint , extra thick gel coat fiberglass exterior including the roof (no maintenance or leak worries) , This camper is 14ft. 10 in. over all length including the tongue and just 6.5 ft. wide . Only weighs 1320 pounds and is light enough for one person to easily roll it around by hand (that why they have the handles on the front ) So if you are not the best at backing a trailer into a campsite just unhook it from your vehicle and roll it were you want to go . another nice feature is the surge brakes .No brake control needed !! Also has a parking brake that you can set on the front of the camper so a wheel chock is not needed . Be prepared to receive a lot of attention and visitors when you roll up in this little guy at the campground . Check out the T@B and teardrop clubs you can join that have rallies all over the USA . This camper also has the awning , Low profile tires (like new) and aluminum wheels, Still has the removable step as well . Tow with a 4 cly little truck, SUV, or even many cars .
