A: The industry standard is a 2" ball for single axle trailers and a 2 & 5/16" ball for tandem axle trailers. Q: What type of electrical hookup do I need? A: The industry standard is a 4 way flat plug on a trailer that does not have electric brakes and a 7 way round plug for a trailer that has electric brakes. Q: How high should my ball be above the ground for optimal towing? A: We recommend 16"-18" from the ground to the top of the ball for optimal towing. We suggest before leaving to come pick your trailer up, stop by an auto parts store and check out the different receivers (2", 3.5", 5" drop, etc.) to see which one gets you closest to 16"-18" above the ground. Q: Is purchasing a spare tire really that important? A: We believe that a spare tire is a necessity for every trailer, especially a single axle trailer. If you purchase a tandem axle trailer, you could limp home on 3 tires but who would want to? We kinda look at it like paddles in a motorboat. You'ld rather have them and not need them, than need them and not have them. Q: What options do I need on to consider on a new trailer? A: Unfortunately, this question can't be answered online. The only way to determine which options and features are going to best suit your needs is to have someone with experience in the trailer industry assist you. That's why we get to know each one of our customers on a personal level so that we can make suggestions based on what would benefit you the most and not because we're just trying to sell you something you don't need. Q: How does the payment process work? A: Once you decide to initiate the purchase process, the first thing that is required from you, the customer, is to pay the $500.00 deposit to secure or order the trailer, depending on availability. The final payment on your new trailer is due when you come to the factory to pick it up or before it leaves for delivery. You can pay your deposit and remaining balance through PayPal, with a debit or credit card, by a bank wire transfer, by mailing us a cashier's check or money order or with cash in person. There is a 3% convenience fee for using Paypal or a credit/debit card to pay your remaining balance. Make sure to look for the "Bill Me Later" icon to see if the ad qualifies for "Bill Me Later" financing through PayPal. Q: What paperwork will I receive when I purchase a trailer? A: When your trailer is paid in full, you will receive a customer care packet from us that contains all the necessary paperwork needed to register the trailer in your home state. It includes a PAID Bill of Sale, MSO (manufacturer's statement of origin...like a title) and the warranty paperwork associated with your trailer. For our Canadian customers, we also provide a letter of NO Recall which states there are no parts used in the manufacturing of your trailer that have a recall associated with them.
