It saves me a few bucks to list it for 7 days, and since we're not making anything on it at this price...we're saving every penny we can! All of this doesn't mean it's a "bad" unit...it's just housecleaning time on our fully-packed lot. This camper has been here for a while, for one reason or another (color, age, weight, layout, whatever), and with all the fresh trade-ins we're getting it's time for us to make some space. That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. It may be basic - just a cooktop, sink, dinette, cabinets, and 2 beds - but boy is this one CLEAN! They were taking good care of this Taos! The upholstery and curtains look great. The cabinets look great. The ceiling looks great. They converted the dinette table and the stove platform over to nicely-sanded plywood, instead of the factory pressboard that would sponge up rainwater and swell if you used them outside - now you can let your stove and table get rained on, and not worry about them! There are NO ODORS. The floor is solid. This is just a neat, clean, basic little Coleman with a neat, clean, basic little price tag! Check out the photos below - you'll see how nice it is! Just like the inside - nice, clean, straight, basic. No signs of accident damage. The tents look GREAT on this one, the roof looks good, the tires look good, the lights look good, even the ABS front and rear panels look good! There's some stickers on the outside, but you can remove them if you want - it looks to me like this was owned by a younger person/couple judging by the Thule roof racks and the content of the bumper stickers, definitely lots of outdoorsy stuff in those stickers! They kept the camper in nice shape, too. The frame has some surface rust discoloration on it, but the photos make it look worse than it really is. There are no flakes, no soft spots, no scale...just hit it with some rust-oleum paint and she'll look as good as new! If you're looking to get started with an RV, but don't have a ton of cash, don't have a big tow vehicle, don't have a huge place to park something...this could be a perfect answer. It's clean, it's basic, it's inexpensive, it gives you room to grow, you can try out the whole experience without breaking the bank, and it doesn't need...well, anything that we've been able to find, in order for you to take it out and start camping. And...it'll fit in a standard garage - if you live with a Homeowners' Association that doesn't allow campers, you can just stick this one in the garage and they'll never know! Why do we sell on eBay? That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. Nice solid Mallard camper with a great layout and a HUGE rear bath! The carpet is the worst part about it, it's got a lot of sun fading but everything in the camper seems nice and solid and it's a very popular floorplan. Touch up a couple of cosmetics on this one and you'll have one heck of a nice camper for not a lot of cash! Like I said above, the worst part about this interior is the carpet - it's faded and has some traffic and wear stains on it. But the actual cloth itself is in decent shape, so you could re-dye it a darker color if you wanted to and you'd get a good many years out of it, or you could just re-do the flooring with some pergo or prefinished hardwood and not have to worry about carpeting at all! The floors are nice and solid throughout, so it doesn't appear to be a water issue, it just looks like the owners didn't follow the first rule of storing a camper - CLOSE THE BLINDS. Keep the sun out, and you'll keep the fading to a minimum. Other than some faded carpet though? This is a great camper! There are NO ODORS. The cabinets look great, the appliances worked just fine for me when I checked them out, it has a nice slideout for the dinette to give you a little extra room, it has a popular layout with the sideways-facing couch so you can get - even in the small size - a dinette AND a sofa, and it has a HUGE full-width rear bathroom with its own wardrobe closet, so you can get 100% ready for your day while you're in there, and not have to walk in and out to get clothes and get dressed. There's also a nice sized kitchen and a big pantry under the TV shelf (remember back when TV's needed shelves?). There's a wall behind the sofa with a curtain for bedroom privacy, and the front bed has nice bedstands and cabinets all around the head of the bed. There are a couple drip-trails in the doorside front corner cabinet, but again - nothing is soft or bubbled. Those couple little drips are the only things I could find that would explain the note on our company website (where, by the way, this same trailer is listed for $6995 - if you want to save, CLICK THE BUTTON HERE!), where it says "water leaks". I didn't find ANY soft spots in this camper - and believe me, after as many years as I've been doing this, I know where to look for soft spots! The outside is also in good shape. The graphics look good and I didn't see any signs of any body damage. The awning looks good, the tires have good tread on them, and the glass and lights look good too. The seams have been re-sealed at some point (they're not factory-sealed, it's a different material on there now)...but I can't tell how long it's been and with those couple small trails inside the front cabinet, I'd say now's the time to re-seal it so it doesn't start to leak. It's in nice shape - if you can spend less than $100 and a nice Saturday in the sun, and KEEP it nice? I'd go for it, that's time and money well-spent! The one thing I noticed outside that was out of place, was the super-clean, obviously-newer water heater. It looks good and I was thinking it was a retrofit...and when I got back inside I confirmed that. What's in the camper is an LP-only water heater, but at one time it had a gas/electric water heater because there's a 110v switch in the kitchen labeled "water heater". Personally...I'd have done the same thing. It's not hard to light an LP heater, there's less stuff to break, and by going out to it every time to light it by hand, you're putting hands and eyes on it so you can see if there are issues starting, or bugs moving in, or leaks happening - before they get out of hand. But, it lights just fine so I wouldn't sweat it at all - if you "have" to have a gas/electric water heater, you can always add one later but this one seems to be doing just fine. So there you have it - a nice-condition, solid throughout, great layout great priced camper! THIS is the time to buy - you can get it home and get it sealed up before winter, and you can still take it camping this season. There's great weather out there, the trees and leaves are gorgeous, and it's a perfect time to be outdoors! And quite frankly...when springtime rolls around? Inside and out, everything is clean and straight and in excellent working order. If you're looking for a great couples' coach that won't break the bank, and doesn't require a super-heavy duty tow vehicle...this could be just what you need! Read below for more details about the inside and outside of this great little camper! This is a lot of nice camper, for not a lot of money...and it's ready to hit the campgrounds as soon as you pick it up from our lot! The inside of this Dutchmen is CLEAN. There are zero odors, no stains, no ripples, I didn't even see any dust! The cabinets look great, the appliances are working properly, the upholstery is perfect, and it's a great little layout! The rear bathroom is HUGE, the kitchen has plenty of cabinet space, the fridge is nice and big, the dinette is close for easy serving, the sofa is in a slideout for extra space, and the front bedroom is nice and private with a half-wall and privacy curtain. It's not huge, it's not "too big", but there's plenty of room to move around and be comfortable. There's no carpet to worry about, everything is vinyl flooring and it's in great shape (and easy to keep clean!). The colors are really nice too - whoever gets this camper is going to be very happy. The outside of this Dutchmen is just as nice as the inside. As you can see in the photos, the awning looks great and it's HUGE - nearly the whole length of the trailer!! We haven't found any signs of body damage at all - the walls are straight and smooth, the colors look great, the graphics are in nice shape, it has four excellent condition tires on it, the glass looks good, and there's a nice diamondplate stone guard up front in case your tow vehicle kicks up any debris while you're towing. There's even a POWER tongue jack on it, with nice LED hookup lights - it looks like it may be brand new this season, it works great and the black paint is nice and dark and shiny, with no fading at all. One thing I noticed on the outside - the owners were DEFINITELY taking care of resealing the camper on a regular basis. They weren't too neat and tidy about it in some spots, but I always say "ugly sealant is better than no sealant". The fact they were doing the maintenance is probably WHY the interior looks so good on this camper! The only three spots that showed any signs at all of water leaks are inside the three doors on the entry side - front cargo door, entry door, and rear cargo door. They can't really seal them shut, and it looks like some water (very little, we really had to poke and dig to find these) got around the door seals. Nothing is really "soft", but there are some ripples in the cargo areas and if you shove your toe all the way in the corner between the entry door and the fridge cabinet, you can feel just a hint of bubbling there too. Again - we had to hunt to find these spots. If I didn't tell you about them, you'd probably never find them on your own, at least not any time soon. But, I like to tell people about these things - not only so you know what you're buying, but also so you know what areas you need to pay special attention to when it comes to maintenance. This is a NICE camper - there's no reason to slack off on maintenance, and if you can get a good jump on re-sealing the seams and checking your door seals, you'll go a long way to KEEPING this camper as nice as it is, for years and years of fun!. THE HISTORY OF THIS CAMPER: I am the second owner of this camper. I bought it about 8 years ago when my daughter was 13. The original owner bought it from a dealer who went out of business. I had changed jobs so I would be able to be a full-time Dad and bought the camper so my daughter and I could have a special activity together. We would go "camper-ing" in and around Lake Tahoe maybe 5 times a year, weekend overnight. We also used it when she participated in soccer season. One of the great things about the camper was we didn't have to depend on reserving a campsite in advance and it gave us the freedom to leave late Friday and come back Sunday afternoon. We did quite a few of those short trips. Another really great use was attending my daughters soccer games. Those were strictly day trips and it was like have a little house nearby so you could change clothiers, make lunch, keep things cold, etc. Even though the floor of the camper is the length of the truck bed (6 ft), it is remarkably roomy and we never felt as if we were in a small space. THE SIX PAC STORY: I did a lot of research before I decided to get a SIX-PAC - I'm sure you have also. For those of you new to RVing and campers and you've decided to get one of the best you may be wondering why there are so few SIX PACs available. Around 2007 when the housing crisis hit the sales of RVs fell drastically. It wasn't that people didn't like RVs there was just a lot of uncertainty so they stopped buying them. SIX PAC, made only small truck campers and decided it was best for them to stop making campers until the market turned around. Now it is 2014, the market has recovered and SIX PAC plans to make a comeback in 2015 or 2016. They will offer this very model, the T100, as their base model for a price of $13,000-14,000 US Dollars. Your camper at $5,959 is likely to be worth this same amount 5 years from now, if you take good care of it like I have. It is easy to take good care of your camper, especially if it is a SIX PAC. Think about that as you read the info below. Those Of You Experienced RVer's Who Have Been Looking For A SIX-PAC - you know the value of a super clean one. How long will this one last? I would never consider selling this one if I wasn't moving to Hawaii. But the cost of sending things to Hawaii is so expensive and I'm sending my truck so unfortunately the camper has to go. I've tried to price my SIX-PAC CAMPER fairly. This might be the best SIX-PAC CAMPER available at this price or any price anywhere. CONDITION: I've used eBay's guidelines to describe the condition of the camper. Unlike cars, campers don't wear out in the same way. There is no engine, no tires - you get the idea. If you take good care of your camper there is no telling how long it can last. Look at the pictures and see for yourself the condition of this camper. All the lights work, the refrigerator works, the inverter works, the stove works, the sink pump works and that's about all there is that wears out over time. It does need a new battery. The outside of the camper is metal and is in great condition. No dents, no scratches, just a bit of dirt that blows with the wind. So depending how you feel, you can wash your camper every couple of months or so depending how it is stored. These are the actual dimensions of my camper:LENGTH: 6 ft. The camper should go right to the end of the truck bed. The tailgate needs to be removed. WIDTH: 53.5 inches. The camper fits between the wheels of your truck bed - you probably don't need to remove the bed liner. HEIGHT: 8 ft. 6 inches. This is the height measured from the ground to the top of the camper when it is on MY truck, a Ford Ranger XLT FX4. CAUTION - IMPORTANT: You Must Measure The Height Of The Camper Once It Is Installed On Your Truck. Construction----------The cabinetry, countertops, and wall paneling are all made from industrial mahogany harvested in the most ecologically sensitive methods possible. Of all the mahogany species available, Six-Pac uses luaun and meranti - they are stronger, lighter, more water resistant and less apt to warp than other more common and inexpensive species. This is a 2005 T@B T3 which is the best one. , extra thick gel coat fiberglass exterior including the roof (no maintenance or leak worries) , This camper is 14ft. 10 in. over all length including the tongue . Only weighs 1400 pounds and is light enough for one person to easily roll it around by hand (that why they have the handles on the front ) So if you are not the best at backing a trailer into a campsite just unhook it from your vehicle and roll it were you want to go . another nice feature is the surge brakes .No brake control needed !! Also has a parking brake that you can set on the front of the camper so a wheel chock is not needed .
