We had some of these Cirrus campers earlier this season and they FLEW out of here. If you missed out on those...HERE'S YOUR SECOND CHANCE!! Right now we have the one pictured in this ad (white, with silver and black graphics and olive green interior); and a gray one with white and black graphics and a tan interior. We *had* a white one with red graphics and red interior...but it's GONE! Here is my ad copy from earlier this season - same model, same brand, same features, same killer design and outstanding execution. Where to begin....wow. OK, the first thing you notice when you look in is the style. Very "European", very modern, very clean, and very functional. The cabinets all have hidden hinges and pushbutton-flush-fit-handles. The surfaces are all modern. The ceiling lights are ...well, they're just sexy, and they're LED, and they're bright, and they're super-low-profile so you don't smack your head when you walk under them. Then you step inside and the floor is...wait...PADDED?? Yep. It's Infinity-brand woven flooring - a green product, extremely durable and comfortable and easy to clean and live with. And the Alde heating system brings back some old-school technology - it's a convection-style radiator system. There are "heat exchangers" (radiators) under the cabinets (yep- heated floors along with heated underfloor holding tanks!), in the wet-bath, and around the mattress perimeter (yes...a heated mattress, too!). Oh, and the Alde system also provides instant hot water - and will run on either 110v shore power, or LP if you're boondocking. And, it only takes about as much LP as your fridge will, if you're running it on LP. So, how does the heat get under the mattress? The Froli sleep system. Not only does it use spring-pucks to support the mattress just like a box spring at home, but it keeps the mattress elevated so air (hot, cold, whatever) circulates under the mattress and it doesn't get all funky under there. The cabinetry looks high-end...because it IS. Lite-Ply euro-style cabinets with those nice recessed handles and hidden hinges. Glass-top sink and cooktop. Fold-down overhead cabinet/bunk conversion. Swing-out TV/stereo cabinet. This is stuff you find on a million-dollar yacht...not a truck camper! But...here it is. Then there's the wet-bath. ROOMY, especially for a truck camper. Fold-up vanity sink for more room. Nice hand-held shower. There's even an Alde heat radiator right there in the bathroom! Even the window shades are special - they look like usual day/night shades, but...they're actually the screens, too! All the windows open, including the one in the front cap. Open the window and pull up what's normally the "day shade"...and it's a pleated window screen to keep the bugs and no-see-ums out. Oh, and there's an accordion screen door on the entrance, too! Then, we get into the "normal" RV-stuff. 3 way (110v/12v/LP) fridge. LP cooktop. Convection microwave. 12v water pump (easily accessed under the step for the bed). Heated and enclosed holding tanks. Rooftop Coleman Mach 8 air conditioner (9,200 BTU). The 12v LED lights throughout. Power and USB outlets on each side of the bed. 110v outlets throughout. 55A converter. Tank monitor panel. Even with all this innovation...yep, it's still an RV! The outside is just as innovative as the interior - first, the Azdel. No wood. No rot. Aluminum framing and block foam insulation inside the walls. One-piece aluminum roof skin (boy do they sound awesome when it rains!). Opening dual acrylic windows throughout. Bus-style slam latch baggage doors. Detachable 30A power cord. 7 pin trailer connector for lights and battery charge line. Insulated dual-battery compartment for all you boondockers out there. Four power Atwood jacks. 8' Fiamma awning (passenger side). All-LED lighting - porch, entry, security, D.O.T. markers, tail and backup, they're all LED. Outside speakers. Outside shower. Tank fill and city water hookups. Tank drain. Low point drain. This is as nicely built as some of our $100,000 5th wheels, or $150,000 motorhomes! And...it's all designed to go into a SHORT-bed pickup truck. The outside floor length (as you can see in the photo above) is 88 inches long including the removable rubber bumpers at the front. It's got its own taillights and backup lights, and a spot for your license plate, so it's designed to cover your truck's taillights. This camper has been here for a while, for one reason or another (color, age, weight, layout, whatever), and with all the fresh trade-ins we're getting it's time for us to make some space. That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. It may be basic - just a cooktop, sink, dinette, cabinets, and 2 beds - but boy is this one CLEAN! They were taking good care of this Taos! The upholstery and curtains look great. The cabinets look great. The ceiling looks great. They converted the dinette table and the stove platform over to nicely-sanded plywood, instead of the factory pressboard that would sponge up rainwater and swell if you used them outside - now you can let your stove and table get rained on, and not worry about them! There are NO ODORS. The floor is solid. This is just a neat, clean, basic little Coleman with a neat, clean, basic little price tag! Check out the photos below - you'll see how nice it is! Just like the inside - nice, clean, straight, basic. No signs of accident damage. The tents look GREAT on this one, the roof looks good, the tires look good, the lights look good, even the ABS front and rear panels look good! There's some stickers on the outside, but you can remove them if you want - it looks to me like this was owned by a younger person/couple judging by the Thule roof racks and the content of the bumper stickers, definitely lots of outdoorsy stuff in those stickers! They kept the camper in nice shape, too. The frame has some surface rust discoloration on it, but the photos make it look worse than it really is. There are no flakes, no soft spots, no scale...just hit it with some rust-oleum paint and she'll look as good as new! If you're looking to get started with an RV, but don't have a ton of cash, don't have a big tow vehicle, don't have a huge place to park something...this could be a perfect answer. It's clean, it's basic, it's inexpensive, it gives you room to grow, you can try out the whole experience without breaking the bank, and it doesn't need...well, anything that we've been able to find, in order for you to take it out and start camping. This camper has been here for a while, for one reason or another (color, age, weight, layout, whatever), and with all the fresh trade-ins we're getting it's time for us to make some space. That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. Nice solid Mallard camper with a great layout and a HUGE rear bath! The carpet is the worst part about it, it's got a lot of sun fading but everything in the camper seems nice and solid and it's a very popular floorplan. Touch up a couple of cosmetics on this one and you'll have one heck of a nice camper for not a lot of cash! Like I said above, the worst part about this interior is the carpet - it's faded and has some traffic and wear stains on it. But the actual cloth itself is in decent shape, so you could re-dye it a darker color if you wanted to and you'd get a good many years out of it, or you could just re-do the flooring with some pergo or prefinished hardwood and not have to worry about carpeting at all! The floors are nice and solid throughout, so it doesn't appear to be a water issue, it just looks like the owners didn't follow the first rule of storing a camper - CLOSE THE BLINDS. Keep the sun out, and you'll keep the fading to a minimum. Other than some faded carpet though? This is a great camper! There are NO ODORS. The cabinets look great, the appliances worked just fine for me when I checked them out, it has a nice slideout for the dinette to give you a little extra room, it has a popular layout with the sideways-facing couch so you can get - even in the small size - a dinette AND a sofa, and it has a HUGE full-width rear bathroom with its own wardrobe closet, so you can get 100% ready for your day while you're in there, and not have to walk in and out to get clothes and get dressed. There's also a nice sized kitchen and a big pantry under the TV shelf (remember back when TV's needed shelves?). There's a wall behind the sofa with a curtain for bedroom privacy, and the front bed has nice bedstands and cabinets all around the head of the bed. There are a couple drip-trails in the doorside front corner cabinet, but again - nothing is soft or bubbled. Those couple little drips are the only things I could find that would explain the note on our company website (where, by the way, this same trailer is listed for $6995 - if you want to save, CLICK THE BUTTON HERE!), where it says "water leaks". I didn't find ANY soft spots in this camper - and believe me, after as many years as I've been doing this, I know where to look for soft spots! The outside is also in good shape. The graphics look good and I didn't see any signs of any body damage. The awning looks good, the tires have good tread on them, and the glass and lights look good too. The seams have been re-sealed at some point (they're not factory-sealed, it's a different material on there now)...but I can't tell how long it's been and with those couple small trails inside the front cabinet, I'd say now's the time to re-seal it so it doesn't start to leak. It's in nice shape - if you can spend less than $100 and a nice Saturday in the sun, and KEEP it nice? I'd go for it, that's time and money well-spent! The one thing I noticed outside that was out of place, was the super-clean, obviously-newer water heater. It looks good and I was thinking it was a retrofit...and when I got back inside I confirmed that. What's in the camper is an LP-only water heater, but at one time it had a gas/electric water heater because there's a 110v switch in the kitchen labeled "water heater". Personally...I'd have done the same thing. It's not hard to light an LP heater, there's less stuff to break, and by going out to it every time to light it by hand, you're putting hands and eyes on it so you can see if there are issues starting, or bugs moving in, or leaks happening - before they get out of hand. But, it lights just fine so I wouldn't sweat it at all - if you "have" to have a gas/electric water heater, you can always add one later but this one seems to be doing just fine. So there you have it - a nice-condition, solid throughout, great layout great priced camper! THIS is the time to buy - you can get it home and get it sealed up before winter, and you can still take it camping this season. There's great weather out there, the trees and leaves are gorgeous, and it's a perfect time to be outdoors! And quite frankly...when springtime rolls around? That means...YOU get to SAVE MONEY. This little Dutchmen Lite is one solid, clean, neat-as-a-pin little camper. They were taking great care of it, and it shows! Inside and out, everything is clean and straight and in excellent working order. If you're looking for a great couples' coach that won't break the bank, and doesn't require a super-heavy duty tow vehicle...this could be just what you need! Read below for more details about the inside and outside of this great little camper! This is a lot of nice camper, for not a lot of money...and it's ready to hit the campgrounds as soon as you pick it up from our lot! The inside of this Dutchmen is CLEAN. There are zero odors, no stains, no ripples, I didn't even see any dust! The cabinets look great, the appliances are working properly, the upholstery is perfect, and it's a great little layout! The rear bathroom is HUGE, the kitchen has plenty of cabinet space, the fridge is nice and big, the dinette is close for easy serving, the sofa is in a slideout for extra space, and the front bedroom is nice and private with a half-wall and privacy curtain. It's not huge, it's not "too big", but there's plenty of room to move around and be comfortable. There's no carpet to worry about, everything is vinyl flooring and it's in great shape (and easy to keep clean!). The colors are really nice too - whoever gets this camper is going to be very happy. The outside of this Dutchmen is just as nice as the inside. As you can see in the photos, the awning looks great and it's HUGE - nearly the whole length of the trailer!! We haven't found any signs of body damage at all - the walls are straight and smooth, the colors look great, the graphics are in nice shape, it has four excellent condition tires on it, the glass looks good, and there's a nice diamondplate stone guard up front in case your tow vehicle kicks up any debris while you're towing. There's even a POWER tongue jack on it, with nice LED hookup lights - it looks like it may be brand new this season, it works great and the black paint is nice and dark and shiny, with no fading at all. One thing I noticed on the outside - the owners were DEFINITELY taking care of resealing the camper on a regular basis. They weren't too neat and tidy about it in some spots, but I always say "ugly sealant is better than no sealant". The fact they were doing the maintenance is probably WHY the interior looks so good on this camper! The only three spots that showed any signs at all of water leaks are inside the three doors on the entry side - front cargo door, entry door, and rear cargo door. They can't really seal them shut, and it looks like some water (very little, we really had to poke and dig to find these) got around the door seals. Nothing is really "soft", but there are some ripples in the cargo areas and if you shove your toe all the way in the corner between the entry door and the fridge cabinet, you can feel just a hint of bubbling there too. Again - we had to hunt to find these spots. If I didn't tell you about them, you'd probably never find them on your own, at least not any time soon. But, I like to tell people about these things - not only so you know what you're buying, but also so you know what areas you need to pay special attention to when it comes to maintenance. This is a NICE camper - there's no reason to slack off on maintenance, and if you can get a good jump on re-sealing the seams and checking your door seals, you'll go a long way to KEEPING this camper as nice as it is, for years and years of fun!.
