What it does mean is that while the miles shown are NORMALLY correct, I do NOT guarantee it. How could I possibly know the complete history of a 10-15 year old vehicle that I have only owned for very short time? On vehicles 10 years old or older the titles can be labeled exempt for miles. They have earned high praise with their highend workmanship. his unit is a 1997 Foretravel U320, a 40 foot diesel pusher and has only 80K miles. LOW ... LOW ... LOW miles on a practically bullet proof Cummins million mile 450HP diesel - YES, I said a Cummins 450 HP diesel!! WOW, most RV's have 330HP to 350HP but this baby has the high end 450HP motor that most owners would give their "eye teeth" for. The Story ..... The Story ..... The Story Here is this Foretravel's story: This was a repo from PNC bank and is a Florida titled (#72460050) unit. On 3/23/2013 a good friend purchased it at a RV/Motorhome dealer only auction for $33,080 according to the auction post sale report which I have. It was inspected by PNC bank rep mechanic with report that I have ... all worked perfectly at sale. While making the two hour drive home to Merritt Island where I live, he was hit by a vehicle that swiped the side cleanly (I have 100 pictures of RV). Knowing that the unit ran perfectly, I purchased the unit from the Insurance company to fix up, part out, or export out of country. It was running beautifullly and still does (see videos of unit running). It was a clean swipe just under the storage compartment trim. You can get door on Craigslist or junk yard for $100 - $200 or I have a local company that can take off the good doors on the other side and mold them into new ones for $500 each. You can shop around and maybe get better deals. I have lots of friends that want to part it out and then live in it - it's so nice and elegant - nice home. That's the story of this unit ... not flood, not roll over, just a simple side swipe with no other discernable damage. Unit has a Power Tech 10KW diesel generator which sells for $10K, motor sells for $30,000, trans sells for $10K ... just those three items can make lots of one then live in RV for a long time. Lots of options on this beauty. The title is in my hand and is a CD title (Certificate of Destruction in Florida ... other states have different classifications so check with your state before bidding). We can store and assist in transportation for you. Unit has Alcoa solid aluminum wheels (rear one missing), new battery, slide out trays, clean motor, $5K worth of aluminum/cloth awnings, no TV but we have 10 to choose from should you want one. Unit has nice leather interior ... for the year model I would rate the interior as an 8 out of 10 ... just needs an easy clean to look like new. Has nice leather couch, leather Captains chair and recliner, Corian desk nook by recliner, cedar lined, solid quality rich looking wood, Coridan counters, Corian dinette, tile bathroom, porcelain toilet, double long bathroom shelf counter top, large corner shower with brass trim, washer/dryer private room, double door wood faced fridge, Corian covers to stove. This unit is a 1997 Foretravel quality custom made diesel pusher, Model M-4000-U320 and is a 40 foot long unit. It has a low mileage of only 82,731 miles. Last Florida title # is 72460050 and has a Cummins 450HP motor with Allison 6 speed transmission. Unit retails from $60 - $70,000 and it's hard to find a custom RV like this one. New she was $405,000 ... that's right, this quality custom made RV was about $405,000 new. I had a local big RV mechanic look at it .. they said airbag mounts appear offset. These could have shifted u-bolts to axle/trailing arms, looks like needs alignment/straightend. Tires are $5000 new a couple of years ago. The DOT is 7 of 2010 when made, so after delivering to tire dealer then later put on RV, so most likely put on in 2011 and they have like new tread. BEWARE ..... BEWARE ..... There are lots of scams out there - they buy cheap, rusted, northern RV's in Michagan, New York, etc. and bring them to Florida or Texas and then re-title them in an attempt to fool you into thinking they are rust free southern or Florida beauties - be sure to do a car fax or ask for a copy of the title.
