2002 Coachmen Cross Country Diesel Pusher We bought this RV in the spring of 2013 from Dallas, Texas and drove it back to Calgary, Alberta, Canada where we imported it. It had 35,000 miles on it when we bought it and we put on almost 10,000 miles the summer of 2013 traveling to San Francisco, Idaho, Montana, and throughout Canada and have put a few thousand on it again this summer with one last trip coming next week and then planning to sell it to upgrade to a larger unit for a cross canada trip next summer. I love driving this RV and would be willing to possibly deliver it throughout Canada and the USA provided we make the proper arrangements via phone. I’m not a fan of email and texting and would much rather talk with any potential interested parties in person or better yet, maybe a local buyer who can actually come view the RV. I am by no means an RV expert but will try and answer any questions you may have and have made of list of what I think is the good and bad on my RV. THE GOOD -5.9L Cummins diesel on Freightliner chassis, Allison Transmission (Bullet-proof combination from what I've been told. I pull my car behind the RV on a tow dolly and have never had any issues pulling up any hills we have encountered) -22.5 inch tires (2 new last year, 2 this year. They were original tires I think so just wanted to change them as they were weathered a bit, tread wasn’t actually bad. If I end up keeping this, I will likely change the other two next year) -Fuel filler on both sides (This is actually a really nice option I had never thought about but when pulling a big rig pulling a car into a station, it is nice to have the option to pull up on either side) -Dual Air Conditioner (I think most larger RV’s have two but it is definitely nice to keep the rear bedroom cool -Lots of storage underneath. Runs and drives great and the air ride suspension is a huge plus in my opinion. -The water connections for filling, draining, winterizing are very easy to use. I used to have an RV without this setup and this setup is as easy as it gets. THE BAD -A few scrapes and scratches from the years of use. There are a few scrapes in the bottom doors as you can see by the pics. These were there when I bought it and they don’t hurt the functionality of the doors. -Rear sink has some bubbling (hard to describe this but if you look at the pictures on the photobucket link you will see what I’m talking about. Not sure what happened as it was prior to me owning it but looks like maybe someone used some cleaner and caused a slight bubbling of the outer coating on it?? Doesn’t affect the use so I was never really concerned about it) -The main awning needs to be replaced. We actually never put it out but the previous owner said it needs to be replaced. -The outside graphics on the driver side are faded and peeling a bit. The passenger side is good as you can see in the pictures. -It came with a table and chair setup and I needed a booth for my daughter to sleep on so I had a booth built and looks great but when it is in sleeping configuration, you can see the plate where the table mounts to the wall and doesn’t look like a factory install. When the table is up, looks fine but just wanted to mention it. The original two chairs will come with the RV. -The igniter for the stove doesn’t work so I just use a lighter to start the burners. I have tried to put all the details I could think about but please feel free to call with any questions you may have. I think it is in pretty clean condition for a 2002 and it does run and drive great, just looking to upgrade.
